I brought my daughter here a few weeks ago to see the butterflies after remembering that my son enjoyed them when he was her age. At the time my son was here (years ago), the admission was free. However, it's now $10 per person. I was a bit daunted by this because I thought $10 just to see the little butterfly greenhouse garden was a bit much... .... then after we exited the garden, we stumbled across an amazing children's outdoor play garden! I did not recall seeing this place before and my daughter was absolutely delighted! We loved it so much that we left to go pick up my son and bring him back the same day. They both spent hours playing in the dirt, with the toy food, climbing the structures, making a water fountain, playing in the tent, and so forth. Definitely worth the $10 per person for them to have that experience. We were also blown away by the fun selection of decor and children's garden toys and accessories inside the shop. The employees were super friendly and nice, too. Great spot. Will definitely be back. This place has also inspired me to consider having a garden. Maybe.

Even though we didn't see many butterflies this time, the visit was still wonderful. The greenhouse is full of beautiful flowers and the landscaping is very well done. It's such a peaceful and relaxing place to walk around. We also bought a lemon tree, which became a lovely gift for our daughter. Highly recommend visiting. There is also a wide variety of hanging flower baskets available for purchase. The greenhouse itself is a working greenhouse and while customers come to this location, one must understand that the business of growing and maintaining healthy plants will be happening all around you. The walking surface is crushed stone, so it is not like walking in a regular store. The majority of the spring flowers go fast right around Memorial Day and Kentucky Derby weekends. This greenhouse appears to deal primarily with Proven Winners merchandise. As such, you can be assured a robust and healthy plant specimen from good genetics. Pricing seemed a little high, especially for perennials. This may be Proven Winners MSRP and not necessarily controlled by the family business. This would be my go to for a greenhouse in the Harrodsburg area. They also have a small amusement park for school aged children, that is open during certain days and hours. I don't know much about it, but from the road, the rides look clean, newer and well maintained. We do not have children so it has not been part of our experience. Daynabrook has a number of "pop up" satellite locations to service your flower needs as well. This is a family run business and therefore, I prefer to shop at such places. Parking is ample on a stone lot, off of a quiet road. The greenhouse also borders the highway, making it an easily accessible location. Fall mums will be the next high demand product and we will indeed be back to buy them here.

This was April 12. He quoted $20,000 to take drain way around back yard for dispersal. I said I just wanted french drain length of front of house with run-off to the side. He then quoted $7500 for this but said he had to get back to me to be sure on cost of materials. Said he would contact me on April 14th to firm up price. No problem. Fast forward to April 21st, What's up Dave still no estimate? Told me he was waiting on pricing from his supplier because of the Trump Tariffs. Funny thing is, the materials used for this project are gravel, dirt, perforated plastic pipe and a shovel which can all be purchased in the US all day, every day at any landscape supply shop. Fast forward until today, June 5th, still no call, text, or email. Please don't allow him to treat you like he has treated me. Luckily I was able to get another company to complete this project perfectly for $2500.
