I stayed here for a week in August 2016. The location is fantastic - within walking of several restaurants, grocery store, coffee, etc in Weybridge. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. The outdoor courtyard area is great for a drink when the weather is warm. The room is a bit small by American standards, but certainly met our needs. Good water pressure in the shower. Did not have the food, so can't comment on that. read more

If a wedding is on expect to be treated second rate if your not from the wedding party!!! We booked a night in the hotel because of the location. Mistake oh yes there was a wedding on the following day so we go to dinner to be told you cant eat in the restaurant because the wedding party takes priority,(not told this when booked the meal and breakfast). Speaking to the manager he just was not interested in the issue and said sorry the bar or nothing. The food when we got it was nice the hotel was dated but pleasent. BUT - The staff and management with the exception of 1 barman (Nik) was horrendous. Will we ever go back to the hotel NO will we go to another Best Western I doubt that as well with the treatment we got in this hotel read more

Just like to comment on their bargain lunch, it's 2 courses for £8.75, and really is exceptional value. They are of a light lunch type, fish cakes, pasta, but good starters too. It's old fashioned service in not too bad a room, a little staid, waiter possibly too chatty, however the day we were there a saturday, the service was a little slow, you may need to tell them you are in a hurry! UPDATE Not sure what's going on there, not sure the do. Went for lunch menu, outside restaurant it was a new offer 2 courses and a glass of wine for £11.50 looked good, so went in and got a table, then the menu camedifferent again, 3 courses for £11, not what we wanted at lunch time, queried it..waiter said that was correct, nipped outside to check amd I was right, he joined me amd said it was the chef's fault, we departed for L'Auberge at the Queen's Head.. see review. UPDATE..2 I think the weekday offer is now about £11 for 3 courses. Sunday lunch just tried it, very good value, 3 courses and a glass of fizz (Cava?) for £12.95 But it was good food, reasonable cold buffet starters, or soup. Choice of 3 Mains plus choice of 2 joints, veg not exciting. Dessert, quite a range or cheese. Plenty of room, but worth booking and asking for a window seat. read more

Have stayed a number of times, won't be returning. First visit the shower didn't work and they were very slow to fix. Second visit I stayed in what can only be described as a shoebox. read more

In a wordhideous.. This hotel has no place in Weybridge.. I had to stay here for 3 long nights and had an awful lot of luggage.. I checked in to this place and asked to see the room I had been allocated (not uncommon)... The decor in this room was like a nasty dream, bright yellow and blue and when I tried to open the door it banged in to the bed as it was so pokey in here. After seeing another 3 similar rooms I kicked up enough fuss to be moved in to the family room at the top which had been recently refurbished and had a lot more space and a more sober colour palette.. Great, except when I had finally unpacked and returned to reception I was informed I would have to move rooms the following night and then again after that! The hotel does not have air conditioning and is the hottest place this side of Africa. It is actually quite unbearable especially at night. As for the bar menu, I ordered a chicken dish and asked if I could have new potatoes instead of chips and the waitress had no clue as to what was on the menu or if indeed it was available. When my food eventully came, it was a reheated dish of chicken and luke warm potatoes sprinkled with a nasty blue cheese which incidentally was not on the description. The bar area was dark and uncomfortable and the restaurant where breakfast is served was quite a stifling affair.. Toast had to be sent back to be toasted rather than grilled and I was charged £!.60 for a bottle of water as they didn't serve it! I was delighted to move out of there read more

I stayed here the night and also ate in the restaurant which is called Gordon's restaurant' but there is no listing for it on Yelp. The rooms are nice but no air conditioning which let it down but my biggest gripe is the restaurant which I didn't really want to moan about on this occasion as the food was pretty good. I arrived with my partner knowing what I wanted to order as I had checked out the menu online but was told that that menu was 2 years out of date and not only had the prices increased but they didn't have anything from that menu, the waiter apologised and said he would get it sorted out and updated but two weeks later as I write this review the old outdated menu is still there. We ordered starters but ten minutes after ordering they tell us they don't have what we ordered so we decided to give starters a miss as not much selection. My partner ordered a smoked salmon and crayfish salad but it came with no crayfish, after pointing this out to the waiter he said he would ask the chef, his reply was that it was an oversight from the chef. No offer of adding the crayfish or a reduction in the bill. This service and incompetence was probably part of the reason why the restaurant only had two other diners in the restaurant while we were there. read more

Rating is ONLY for the bar area. Excellent Service, cosy place Coffee is good. Pancakes below average. You can smell the egg in it. A little bit of effort should be put on its presentation. Ice cream is PERFECT. A pity you cannot add tip for the service. Toilets clean and tidy. read more
