And I've been too many of them. What makes this one special is the attention to detail and the very personal customer service. The studio is extremely clean, I mean, impeccably. All of the towels smell fresh, all of the floors are freshly polished. Everything smells delightful. The sauna is top notch. It has a large infrared light bar, but it also has very strong, infrared light around the sauna otherwise, and on the ceiling of the sauna as well. and this one, you are also able to adjust it to other types of light such as blue, green, Amber, etc.You are also to control your own levels of heat. There is a television with prepaid Amazon prime channels. The Bluetooth speaker inside the sauna is loud and crisp, and of course you can control the levels and channels with the remote. The gentleman who helped me is named Ken. He gave me a nice tour of the studio upon arrival, and then showed me how to operate everything. He was extremely helpful and kind.Another nice thing is this sauna is very large. I was literally able to stretch out and recline. I think this will be my go to infrared sauna spot.

I took a circus aerial class here. When I first came, drop-ins were $5! It's more expensive now,…read morebut still very affordable. When I started, I wasn't sure what to expect. There was 1 silk, 2 lyra, and 1 pole for ~4 students, but there also seemed to be one of the instructor's kids (?) playing around too? There was a group led warm-up with yoga mats, but then it took the form of more open aerial then a directed class. I mainly did my own thing on silks, but then later asked for some help on lyra since the instructor seemed most knowledgeable about that. For the amount of money spent, I think it was a decent use of time. I think this place has a lot of potential, however, it didn't really seem like a class, or even serious training time. Everyone else there seemed relatively new to aerial. Other: * Parking can be a bitch in this area. * The studio is a bit smaller than I thought it would be, probably because of all the studio mirror angles in the pictures. * Class times are mainly during 9-5 business hours.

I signed up online via a link from their Instagram and the website was pretty user friendly and I was able to get registered for the class I wanted. No sweat. Looking for parking can be tough as it's street parking only, so I came a bit early to ensure I was able to get a spot. Walking in, the interior was pretty cozy and it was smaller compared to other studios I've been to in LA, but not a bad thing at all! The person working the front greeted me and I told her it was my first time so she gave me a rundown of how the studio works. I appreciate the great customer service! They have a full front mirror, cubbies to store your belongings, a clean bathroom, and an ipad up front to sign in. The class was comfortable since there were people of different dance levels so it's not intimidating. I also liked that it wasn't crowded. The classes usually last for 1 hour and 30 min. I would definitely take a class here again in the future.

She was super responsive and reassured me I'd be fine and I could do a private lesson to catch up. And she was right! I love that tjey expanded not only in size but also the types of dance offered. My favorites are their heels classes. Admittedly some of the beginners classes don't feel like beginners because many people already know the moves lol Every class I've attend, the instructor had great energy, broke down the moves easily, was open to questions, and made you feel confident! If you're new to the Playground here are some tips: - come early to find parking. Yes there's limited meter parking, but there are streets that let you park from 8-8pm without a permit for 2 hours - bring water you will sweat! - you can walk in with a bag of your clothes and additional shoes since they have dressing rooms - come with a friend if you're shy and so they can record you if you want - make sure your phone is charged so you can ask someone to record what you learned - remind yourself that you're here to have fun! You can get in your head when so many around you are so good and comfortable.
