I mainly did my own thing on silks, but then later asked for some help on lyra since the instructor seemed most knowledgeable about that. For the amount of money spent, I think it was a decent use of time. I think this place has a lot of potential, however, it didn't really seem like a class, or even serious training time. Everyone else there seemed relatively new to aerial. Other: * Parking can be a bitch in this area. * The studio is a bit smaller than I thought it would be, probably because of all the studio mirror angles in the pictures. * Class times are mainly during 9-5 business hours.

The teacher, Miss Tamara, is so kind and patient with the littles and all of the children obviously love being there! My daugher and I truly look forward to the class every week and I can definitely see that my 3 year old has improved in listening to the teacher and following directions. A friend shared Alexis's classes and I realized the session was already three weeks in. I texted Alexis to check if she thought I would be okay joining during week four, with no formal salsa lessons under my belt. She was super responsive and reassured me I'd be fine and I could do a private lesson to catch up. And she was right! This is the perfect learning environment for anyone who is new to salsa and/or dancing. Alexis is a talented instructor - she is patient, kind, and always encouraging! Unfortunately, there are no lockers to put your belongings in so you throw it on the floor like everyone else. There is also only one bathroom for prob 70 girls, so try to go beforehand. As for the class itself, I did struggle a bit because I have no choreography background. It looked like the majority of people had some sort of dancing experience (or they were just naturally good). Also, it was so packed that I couldn't see the instructors in the front. I would recommend trying to get a spot in the front row, but you better be the first in line for that. Otherwise, good times.
