The sessions have all been productive and Grayson has improved immensely. He had participated in a group class unsuccessfully and has really thrived with the customized attention. Also, the packages are fairly priced and include robust support as your puppet learns new skills. Grayson has learned how to sit, stay, leave it, come, and a few other staples. Also, he's learned how to leash walk less chaotically and in a much safer way. Aubrey has introduced new dog puzzles, toys, and options to us. Turns out Grayson needed more enrichment to help with his behavioral issues. Overall, I am really impressed by the professionalism, structure, and customization we've gotten through Power Paws. An added bonus is that there are fitness elements and offerings that you can choose to help your dog get exercise and enrichment. Power Paws has been doing such a great job that I encouraged them to get on Yelp so I could leave a review. Overall, I would strongly recommend utilizing this company.

After training w/Chris, he helped us, without provocation, to pinpoint what it could be that brought about this change. During the entire process Chris was patient w/me and Oliver. He taught us each skills and techniques that could bring harmony back into our home. Giving up on my dog was not an option, but it got to the point where he was not enjoyable to be around because of his unpredictable behavior. She's flexible with our schedule due to kids' (4 yrs & infant) sickness & travel. We opted for an additional dogsitting/training over weekend to seal the deal. Karen asked us top 3-5 things we would like to work on with our Gizmo prior to her visit. First visit clicked right by away! We had homework and we were shocked at the changes we saw immediately as long as we did the homework as well. She alternated the trainings with my hubby & I so we both were trained as well. Leash walking, recall, follow through with basic commands (place or home until release), & no counter surfing incidents since we started with her. Highly recommend Karen & how she can caters a program to fit all your needs. Very reasonable for in home training (1 hour session) each that works vs. 10 training pkgs from other boarding places or the $2k+ for boarding/training option. They have a very active presence on social media and frequently post pictures of the dogs having fun. They have a large indoor and outdoor playspace, so they can accommodate all weather. Also, you can drop off as early as 7am and pick up as late as 6pm. They do have rules in place for the drop off/pickup window to minimize disruptions to the dogs during mid-day rest time. My dog always looks like he's having so much fun in their pictures. Recently they had kiddy pools out (on the first hot day of the year). Super fun! He always comes home super exhausted and the staff tells us how he played all day. Also, their portal is easy to use for bookings and they have affordable packages available. Overall, I'm a big fan of Dog Gone Fun for daycare!

Ozzie had been left to fend for himself and spent much, if not all of his life outside as a small mixed breed. He suffered from extreme anxiety and debilitating fear. On Russell's first visit to our home, Ozzie hid behind the sofa for 30 minutes. Before Russell left, Ozzie was eating out of his hand and rolling over for belly rubs. We've been working together for over a month now, and it's like I have a different dog. The techniques that Russell has taught me to use with Ozzie as well as explaining how my actions and reactions influence his behaviors has been invaluable. A genuinely nice person who truly cares about your dog's progress.

This would be her first time to a facility to groom. She was a little nervous and scared. I said it's okay, as she pushed towards the door. The woman running the grooming section scolding me and said, no you do not say it's okay, because it's not okay. Sorry to correct you but our trainers would say the same thing. I was trying to comfort a panicked puppy. I did not mean her behavior was okay, but that she would be okay. Our puppy is obviously still in training and this is not our first puppy. This was our first time ever having a dog groomed, first impressions and actions are important. I found it unprofessional and insulting the way she spoke to me. She did a nice job with the grooming, but I would not recommend this particular place to anyone with a puppy, young dog or first time grooming. I do not feel it is right to insult customers and treat them like trash the moment they walk in the door. UPDATE: As you can see from the owner's response. They obviously DO NOT care about their customers'. I did NOT react negatively, nor was I reinforcing fearful behavior. We have had many dogs and have them professionally trained. We understand the do's and don't of training dogs. As an owner of several businesses myself for over 25 years, this is not the way you treat customers. It's not what you say, it's how you say it. If it had not been for the fact that we had a scheduled appointment that was scheduled weeks out, I would have walked right out of the door. Very rude to speak to customers this way! Changing to a 1-star review after owner feedback. UPDATE: The response from the Owner is NOT anything I ever wrote. I stand by my rating. I would NOT recommend this groomer. They are terrible.

We have also gone through a training class there with Liz (highly recommend). The groomer, Amy, is fantastic and always has them smelling and looking good. Definitely recommend all of Dogtown's services.
