First, this happened to fall the weekend of Hurricane Michael when everyone lost power including Reaba. It was very last minute as my trip plans changed and I had to leave earlier than expected and could not reach the place originally scheduled for my dog. I quickly search engines somewhere and Reaba popped up and I called explained my situation and though slightly off her normal stipulations she agreed to help me. Of course none of us expected the storm at this point as it was Thursday. We left, and I am always super apprehensive leaving Smokey bc he was a rescue and I always worry he thinks I am abandoning him. Well storm hits and sure enough Reaba lost power the entire time I was gone as did everyone here in Saxapahaw. When we returned Sunday we weren't sure what we would return to at our house so Reaba was gracious enough to offer if we needed to pick him up the next day that was fine. Fortunately we did not. We picked up Smoky and I was expecting the usual, my dog to be anxiously waiting for me jumping up to see me , jumping in my car, jumping and running. What I got was similar to a mopey child being picked up by mom to early I seriously could not believe it. My dog did not want to leave!! My dog came home with more manners, quieter, more well trained than I sent him!!! I am still in disbelief!!! I cannot reccommend NO BARKING BACK enough!!!! Honestly!!! I feel like my dog has made friends with Rebea's kids and can't wait to visit again! After hours of researching, I decided to try Stoney Creek and y'all, this place is the cutest and coolest ever. When I took my dogs here for the first time, they gave me this "Reporting Card". ARE YOU SERIOUS. Both of my dogs got A+ on their reporting cards and I couldn't be happier(reporting cards are still on my refrigerator). Even though their reporting cards were pretty accurate and included lots of details, I still called them and asked how my dogs were doing. They did not mind me calling and they were checking on my dogs for me whenever I wanted to know. After our first daycare trial, I bought couple passes so that I could bring my dogs more often. They both always look so tired whenever I pick them up after my work and I assume that means they had a blast right? Lastly, I LOVE staff here, everybody is so friendly and I can tell they love my dogs just like theirs. Again, I still call them whenever I drop off my dogs and they always put up with me:) If you are looking for a daycare for your dogs, I highly recommend Stoney Creek, you and your dogs will love it!

I understand people make mistakes but jeez they obviously do not take customer service seriously. I would give negative stars if I could.

It's sad to see this happen because the folks who work there really are excellent! We boarded two dogs and when we picked them up it seems the rate has effectively doubled. That was unexpected. We boarded the same two dogs for the same period of time in April and it was $380. This time it was $794. To add insult to injury, the person at the desk billed us twice. Clerical errors happen, but it's how we respond to them that matter and in my case getting help in the form of a refund has been a colossal headache. They advised us not to worry as it would be refunded. It's now three days later and no refund. Our account has been overdrawn and we've been told to "just wait" for a refund. After being billed an extra $800 leading to an account overdraw, "just wait" is an unacceptable resolution. I run a small business. If we overcharged a customer to the tune of $800 and overdrawing their account, one of my guys would be in a truck heading to that person's house with a check and an apology. Been coming here for years - sadly will be taking business elsewhere going forward. To me it's quite telling that all the recent reviews are one star. Sad to see and it pains me to contribute to that.
