Beautiful winery, we drove into the driveway and looks like a house. The backyard is a hill and you can see the vineyards. The inside was very spacious, suited for large groups and private parties. The patio and more seating in the backyard. They serve finger foods, pizza, and charcuterie boats. The bar is on the left as soon as you enter the building, review the list of wines they offer, you can do a flight or by glass. They don't offer tasting, but can give you a small sample prior to choosing a glass. Service was great, they gave me a pager for the food. We had a carrier for my wine and open seating anywhere. At the summer wedding we attended in 90+ temps with 60+% humidity, it was a lovely, lovely respite. As the day turned to night the outdoors cooled a bit and we spent time on the patio. They had to have sprayed for bugs because I didn't see or feel mosquitoes. I knocked off one star because my sons were both wearing light khaki-colored pants and they sat on an outdoor seating area and there was some sap or other oily substance that left marks on their light pants. It didn't wash off so I have to get creative on getting it removed. Just a gorgeous place and not to hard to get to.

When you turn into the winery you come down the lane with grapevines on either side and at the end you get a nice view of Round Lake. Appetizers, pizzas, sandwiches, salads, steaks and seafood. We started with the Black and Blue Wontons as an appetizer. Crispy fried wontons with pieces of steak with blue cheese crumbles and a garlic sauce. I ordered the Prime Rib sandwich with sweet potato fries this time and it was delicious. The fries were nice and crispy which was great. I feel like it's always a crap shoot with sweet potato fries! We had their New York cheesecake for dessert which never disappoints. We also did a wine tasting of two whites and two reds. All of the wine is good but our favorite is the Sangiovese. It's become our go to when we come. We always buy a bottle to take with us. We can't wait to come back!

We ordered Ahi Tuna Wontons, a couple of pizzas, and the bison tenderloin. Unfortunately, they didn't have the ingredients for the black and blue pizza which we were so excited to try, so that was a bummer. We also ordered a couple bottles of wine to share and it was a wonderful pairing with our food. The waitress was very nice and apologized for the pizza and flies. It is great to have someplace to take them in bad or hot weather. It is clean, staff is nice and I hope that they will vary the activities by adding and changing things occasionally to help keep it fresh and interesting. There are certainly bigger indoor play places we have taken them, but this place is just right for now. Parents need to chill, kids ask questions, get hurt, run around, scream and make messes, it all good. Don't be so uptight!

The rooms are first class and clean! The private lake was definitely the highlight! Swimming, kayaking, etc. It is an old granite quarry so it is a very clean clear lake with red granite cliffs rising up on the sides. It is especially beautiful after dark with a campfire on the shore and a full moon shining across the water. The hosts were very accommodating with anything they could do to help.
