Both areas are poorly installed and has caused 2 accidents. I called Jay the owner left a voicemail and text him for him or for a different crew to come out and fix it and he has not contacted me back. The only amount that was not paid to him was the money for not painting the inside of the storage unit which he said he would come to do and never showed up. My son cut his elbow on staples that were sticking up on the stairway and there were loose staples through out the carpet upstairs as well that kept sticking us in our feet! I had a carpet expert to come in to verify both the carpet in the playroom and the stairway carpet is very loose and not installed properly. I paid 3,000.00 for this job to be done plus the cost of the carpet!

I also saw his work close up as my son and daughter in law used him on their build. Kyle and all his staff were wonderful to work with. Jennifer in the office was my first contact and she was awesome. She took me through the process and started my vision and we built from there. I was able to look at all the options run it through her and she help me make decisions on where I wanted to go with the cabinets, countertops, sinks, etc. I got to look at the options for counter tops and explored the lot and was able to get different things in my budget and I was determined to stay on budget. They did my sinks as well. I then got to sit down with Kyle and he put the vision to paper and walked me through where I could see exactly what it was going to look like. I was able to make changes and of course options were available. I wanted a custom vent hood and I provided him a picture and of course he brought it to life. As with all customs time was allowed but I had started my process as early as I could and we stayed on track. I had ALOT of cabinets and when they started to arrive the install staff was excellent as well. They went to work and brought the photos and layouts to life. They paid attention to detail and all was quality products installed. Will was my contact guy on the install and he made sure all t's were crossed and i's dotted on the end. Kyle made sure my gas cook top was a custom fit as well as all other appliances on the sizing. Kyle was on site to check and make sure that the install was to the specifications. He was in every aspect of the product from beginning to the end making sure he delivered a quality product. I was so happy with what he did for us on our build. He told me I had black toe kicks before and that's why it was bleeding through after one coat although I have pictures to prove otherwise. He cuts every corner possible. I ordered soft close and got kitchen done with regular hinges and bathrooms done with soft. If you're not absolutely specific he will opt to the cheapest option in order to make more money. He is not worth what I paid for. He also altered design from original contract without my consent and I had to accept or wait months again. I would stay away from KNC if at all possible. Zero stars if that was an option
