We came on a Friday and although it was busy, it was overall easy to find a parking spot and table. A lot of people bring their own chairs or blankets which could be helpful in the future When we came, there were a lot of food trucks to choose to so can't speak on the food at urban apples, but their ciders were tasty! I got a flight and enjoyed trying different flavors. I wasn't a huge fan of their "regular" cider but I enjoyed the raspberry one and mixed berry. The cinnamon one was also tasty! There is a huge outdoor area and our kids loved playing in the open field and going down the tunnel slides. There's also a play area and other things we want to check out the next time we come. Definitely a fun spot to hang out with the family!

I stumbled across it today while out driving around and waiting for an event I was attending. The mansion is a historic mansion that was inspired by the Governor's Mansion in Williamsburg, VA. It has multiple options for several events and has been updated by Hamilton County Parks. From the looks of things, those updates continue to be implemented. As a historic mansion, accessibility isn't perfect. Things have been made as accessible as possible - Hamilton County, in general, tries to do that. Event space on the main floor has space for 80 people for a sit-down event. If the patio is included, you could have 100 sit-down or 120 standing. There's also a third-floor music room that has space for 40 sit-down. If you need a larger space, Coxhall Gardens has several other options including an amphitheatre. It's super weird to think that this was a home. The land started with the John Williams family (No, not the Star Wars composer). They were early Hamilton County settlers and moved here in 1855. 10 years later, they built the Victorian home that still stands. Bricks were even made on-site. In 1958, a 40-year-old Jesse Cox and his wife would make a bid on the property - it was initially denied, however, a year later the property was still for sale. Finally, they were able to acquire it. In 1999, they donated it to Hamilton County Parks. Due to its historic nature, the mansion is often viewed separately from the rest of the gardens. This entire complex is pretty mesmerizing, however, Carmel has a long history of weaving together luxury, history, and practicality and this mansion is a great example.

We stopped in for a glass and sole chill time on the patio. Ive seen it busy but on a Saturday night there was lo problem finding a table. They schedule live music on the back patio. Think local musicians with a guitar singing solo for tips. It gives a great low key vibe. The server/bartenders are well versed in their wines and can help guide decisions if needed. I think they are incredibly positive which is always appreciated and keeps with the shops over arching theme. We will keep coming back.

Not only do they offer a great variety of wines, they also have a charming and spacious outdoor garden with live music and a fire pit & heaters to warm up by. It's beautifully decorated and quite pleasant to sit out on the enclosed patio even in the colder months. I really enjoyed the atmosphere--they are dog friendly and the patrons & staff are incredibly welcoming. The adorable gift shop is perfect for supporting small, local businesses. Looking forward to coming back during the summertime too!
