Me and my family love a food truck that offers different specialty menu items each month. Always a different variety of items to try. We can't wait for spring to see what new dessert items they will bring back for 2025. Come to Calvert City as much as possible, we love the Big Red Truck.

The next time, not so much. They changed the menu to their "winter" menu, siting food costs in the winter. They no longer had melted cheese or chili for fries. They also put shredded cheese on the burger. It just changes the taste and texture. I'll likely skip them until they update the menu on the spring. I think the inconsistency is unfortunate. I pay $15 for a burger, fries and a tip. I think that adding regular cheese and offering the traditional items all of the time would be more beneficial. Had I tried it the first time, with the winter menu, I wouldn't order again. Since they come to my job site once a week, looks like I will be bringing my lunch until they update the menu again. I would also recommend that with the keto option (no bun) they allow you to skip the fries or just have a small side salad or something. It would be nice for those of us who prefer to eat keto during the week.

I usually bring my own lunch, but forgot mine on Thursday and realized everyone had these little brown boxes full of yummy lunch. I asked my instructor where they were getting it from and he showed me the way to Kitchens! First off, WOW. SO GOOD. You walk in and make your choice off a chalkboard menu. They offer plenty of yummy options, a daily special, and vegetarian/vegan options, too! The service is great, everyone is so sweet and willing to chat. I ordered the turkey wrap with the pasta salad. I had to wait a little bit for my food, but it was very busy--and it was wildly worth it. You can sit inside the restaurant, outside on the patio, or take your lunch to go! I opted to sit outside on the pretty patio. On to the good stuff. The turkey wrap was delicious. I loved that the turkey itself is sliced very thin, like falling apart. I'm very picky about deli meats and this was prefect! The sauce on the wrap is different, but completely ties the turkey and fresh ingredients together for sort of an addicting punch! The pasta salad is one I've never had before. It's a tomato based pasta salad with yummy feta cheese, fresh tomatoes, and sliced green olives! A must try, for sure! I got to eat on this twice, the portions are wildly worth the price! Overall, I really enjoyed this yummy, friendly, well-priced, well-hidden gem here in Paducah, Kentucky's Art District. I would highly recommend to any locals looking for a fresh bite and to any out-of-towner looking to find out what Paducah is really all about!

The first time I came here they were out of the special so I think they just make a certain amount and when it's gone it's gone. It was some tortellini that looked amazing so I'm not surprised it sold out. I went with the cheeseburger sliders and did a side of the veggies. The sliders were good. I think they forgot the cheese sauce. Or they just barely put any on. I didn't see it taste it. But they were still good and the veggies were very delicious too. I had some left over and mixed them with my eggs the next morning. The second, and most recent time I was here, they had a chicken pecorino with rice and veggies. The chicken was absolute perfection. Perfectly crispy and moist inside. It was easily cut with the plastic knife I had. The rice was just over the line or too salty but when mixed with the chicken and veggies it all worked. It was a delicious meal. The food comes out pretty quickly, especially if you get the special since it's sitting up front on the line. I don't live nearby so don't get to come here as often as I'd like but I definitely want to try more of their specials. So much of what they post looks amazing. I love that the students are learning and we benefit!

This one popped up so I stopped in. I guess there are multiple rooms here, one part is a restaurant and then there is a bakery. I only was in the bakery. They have a lot to choose from. Some stuff is sitting on the counter in the open which was odd and at one point I thought maybe they were samples but they were full sized items so I think they were for sale. Anyway I decided to order a few items. I ordered some kind of brownie. I think it was called the all good bar. It's a brownie with walnuts in it, then a peanut butter layer on top of it and a layer of chocolate ganache on top of that. It's a buckeye in brownie form and it's amazing. It could easily go into the way too sweet territory but it doesn't. It's perfect. One or two bites satisfies a sweet tooth. So I took a few bites over 2-3 days. I wish I had more. I also ordered I think it was called a basket. It was pastry puff dough in a rectangle with cream cheese in the center and very thin slices of apple on top. I brought that home and heated it up in our airfryer for 3-4 minutes and let me tell you it was one of the best things I've eaten all year. And I've had some really delicious food this year. I wanted to cry. It was that good. Unbelievable. I wanted to scarf it down and also take my time because I didn't want to not have it. The last thing I bought was a two pack of their iced shortbread cookies. They were right by the register and maybe on sale and I figured why not. These took me back to childhood. There was a bakery near us in Ohio called 'taste and tell'. They had the best iced cookies. I'm 43 and I still think about them. That place closed probably 30 years ago? I took a bite of these cookies and time traveled to 'taste and tell'. Whatever recipe they use is the same. They are so good!! Out of the three items I bought I didn't have a favorite because everything was amazing in its own right. The brownie was rich and sweet and decadent and had crunchy and creamy and perfection. The basket was 10/10 pure heaven and the cookies were a blast from the past of one of my favorite childhood treats. I'm both sad and happy that this place is so far from me because i want to be there everyday. I will definitely be back to empty the bakery case and also to try and sandwich or soup or real food too.

The dance floor is huge and the giant mirrored ball was a nice retro touch. The menu at our event included catfish which was cooked nicely but was painfully salty. The remainder of the meal was assorted comfort foods which were fine but a little underwhelming. Everything was served cafeteria style and had a very casual vibe. It was more like a school lunchroom than a wedding in terms of quality, plating and presentation. I'd 100% recommend the venue for an event but would approach their catering abilities with realistic expectations.

My husband and I had the pleasure of attending a friends wedding today at this location. The event hall is located close to the Ohio River (always a plus!) and appears to be very small from the outside. We parked on the street directly across from the venue, I didn't see an easily accessible parking lot connected to the building for guest use but there is public parking on the street and behind the flood wall. When you first walk inside there is a small reception type desk on your left and bathrooms on your right. Go through the main doors and there is a very spacious area complete with carpet and hardwood floors. The walls have mirrored archways to help give space to the venue; there is lots of ceiling space and great acoustics! The main focal point I noticed was the bar (no, not just because I fancy a drink or three) because of the giant wood banisters and it just gives that old time feel. This place was a nice little venue (there was about 50-60 people) thats updated, very clean, and close to the river. Bonus points: there is a small arts district and that quaint downtown feel a few blocks over! My husband and I both decided we were coming back for a small weekend trip to explore all the restaurants and museums we drove by!
