And worst of all, the window has no drapes or backout curtains. There are only white plastic blinds that let in all the light from the bright parking lot lights. Lights in the room were not needed. It was very difficult to sleep without darkness. Also, when I turned on the A/C in the middle of the night I almost immediately started sneezing and my nose started running. When I turned it off my symptoms went away. I'm sure the air coming out was full of construction dust. The hallway on the second floor was striped down to concrete. And no apologies were made upon check-out for the conditions. In fact, the desk clerks didn't even ask how our stay was. I think she knew.

The front desk person came up to us after he was done assisting all these other people and informed us the beers were on him. I thought that was so kind! When we returned from dinner, we decided to grab some beers and sit in the lobby again. There was a different front desk person but we did not interact with her as much due to her being in the back. The hotel overall gives an outdated vibe-in the room and lobby. We did make it for breakfast and there was a decent selection of items. Unfortunately, when I was attempting to grab another cup of coffee when I was done with breakfast, the canister was empty. Someone asked a staff member about putting a fresh container of coffee out and she went to brew it immediately. It still took about 15 minutes but we appreciated the immediate assistance. It was not done in vain because there was four of us waiting. I did not use the shower because the shower had mold and some parts did not look safe or clean. Like I said, a renovation definitely needs to happen here. The staff were great in all experiences. When I went to get up I got a Horrible Charlie horse in my inner thigh rendering me unable to stand up or walk. My husband ran to the front desk asking for mustard packets. Destiny was on staff and quickly handed him some packets without any explanation. She asked if he needed catsup too and he hastily replied no as he hurried back to our room. A previous experience had a retired nurse giving me mustard as a Charlie horse remedy. Believe it or not it works. I also use smart Water and usually keep some bedside but did not have any with me in the hotel. After I got through the ordeal my husband went back to the front desk to let Destiny know he was t trying to be rude but was in a hurry and explained to her why. The 1-800 lady tried to tell me that the king was oversized and could fit four.....uh, yeah, whatever. I took the room knowing this couldn't be true and that my youngest kids would sleep on cots on the floor. Sure enough, I was right, EXCEPT the lady at the counter saved the day by providing extra bedding so that the one kid who slept on couch cushions on the floor was very comfortable. Breakfast bar was average, my eggs were cold, no knives replaced after I got the last one yesterday. No fresh pastry items Saturday. I will say the lady in charge was working hard, and very calm in confronting a customer who made a very inappropriate remark towards a worker. Ice machine didn't work for the 3 days we were there along with nothing in the vending machine. No ice in the place.
