They were welcoming from day one and everyone there is so friendly and meets you with a smile and calls you by name. Included in your membership not only gives you access to the gym but the Healing Suite where you have access to 2 infrared saunas, 4 massage chairs, PEMF mats, and Infrared Mats. On top of that there is a wave pool with an underwater treadmill (I haven't used that yet but it seems very popular) The greatest part of my experience at the gym though has been with the Personal Training that they offer. I've been working out twice a week with Sarah S. for over a year now and my flexibility and cardio both have improved. I like the accountability she gives me to make sure I'm exercising/stretching and doing it correctly while also encouraging me to do things I'm not comfortable trying on my own. There's also all types of different classes to take and Coffee with Carrie (which I've been trying to get to). Just so much to put under one business I could recommend them to anyone for hours.

The problem is that the saunas are not turned on some of the mornings, as they need to be preheated. If your running short on time it takes two cycles for the saunas to heat. I have mentioned this to the staff and also to the manager. Nothing has changed.... One staff member says you get the same benefit from a sauna even if it is not warmed up. Really? So if the program runs at 138 and it's 100 your getting the same benefits? I'm not sure what the issue is. If this was the case why have the other equipment plugged in? You could sit in a massage chair and feel relaxed if it's not plugged in? You could manually make the treadmill work... wouldn't be as enjoyable, but what difference does it make! I've been coming for about 6 weeks and have already made friends. Some of their classes have a kid's room available so someone can watch your little one while you workout. They are welcoming whether that means you're a grandparent looking to get in better shape and stay active or whether that means that you're 20-something that wants the thrill of competing in a sport. I would have given this location a 1 star for the exception of how friendly the staff was. Summary this place could be the elite club in town if there is some major investment.

I had used another pool company for 20+ years and the customer service became so horrible that I switched. I was advised to use products in my pool that I didn't need and basically threatened to have services I didn't need in order for them to service my pool. When I switched to Blue Lagoon, Breanna got me started on a product called Supreme plus. This has been AMAZING. My water is crystal clear and so easy to balance. I'm using less chemicals than ever. I used to add PH+ about every 3 days, now it is about every 3 weeks if even that. Their team is so knowledgeable about how to deal with any issue that arises. I have a creek in my bad yard, so mustard algae likes to find its way in my pool on the backs of frogs and other creatures that come visiting. In less than 12 hours after putting in the chemicals they recommended, GONE! I used to be forced by the other company to allow them to open my pool if I wanted them to service my pool in other ways and after they opened it would take me 10-14 days to have my pool clear and clean and fully balanced - NOT ANYMORE. It used to be so cloudy when I opened. This is the 3rd year I've opened myself and each year it is easier and easier thanks to Supreme Plus. This year, I opened and I could see the bottom of my pool the day we took the winter cover off and 12 hours later (after vacuuming it) it was swim ready. Thanks to my use of Supreme Plus, I added the standard quart of Polyquat (algaecide) upon opening, but I didn't need to add any other chemicals to my pool except chlorine - all the other chemicals were perfectly balanced. Their customer service is A+++ and their knowledge has helped save me time, headaches and money. I highly recommend them to anyone who has a pool or hot tube. They will not steer you wrong and you will be so glad you entrusted your pool to them. Best of all, they are kind and helpful.

They reeducated me on the use of chemicals so that I now get great results with fewer chemicals. During our stay, we found blood splatters throughout the room and were concerned enough to contact law enforcement. The air vent appeared to have gone uncleaned for an extremely long time, the walls had multiple holes and visible damage, and the shower head was broken. The room also had a strong musty odor that made the stay very uncomfortable, and I am still experiencing severe headaches that I believe were caused or worsened by the conditions in the room. Overall, the property appeared poorly maintained and unsanitary. In addition to the condition of the room, the front desk staff was rude and unhelpful when we raised our concerns. Management showed little interest in addressing the issues and lied about calling us because they never did. How unethical! They should be ashamed of themselves. I strongly believe Choice Hotels should investigate this property's condition and management practices. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, and I would not recommend staying here.
