Let's look at the definition of trauma: trau-ma l"trôm/ noun 1. a deeply distressing or disturbing experience. "a personal trauma like the death of a child" 2. physical injury. "rupture of the diaphragm caused by blunt trauma" synonyms: injury, damage, hurt, wound, wounding, sore, bruise, cut, laceration, lesion, abrasion, contusion NOT everyone has experienced this, Adrienne, and you minimized and trivialized me with this statement. Well done. You won that round. Yes, I left the session in tears. Yes, I was suicidal- look at the forms. I didn't answer that question, did I, AND I told you why. I was guilted into making the hour plus trip for this appt. I was NOT in the mindset to undertake this endeavor that day and called the day b4 to reschedule. (It took me 4 YEARS to get up the nerve to discuss starting EMDR and we never even got around to it! Having relocated to reboot my life after Chelsea died JUST before lockdown, not knowing anyone, having a support system was a major deterrent- but I explained that to you both, Adrienne and Derrick. It was more important that I NOT inconvenience you since you rearranged your schedule to see me. I am SO gr8 ful to you for doing your job. Kudos.) Just FYI, I was in a good deal of pain (remember I mentioned that I need an Atlas to Coccyx spinal fusion after caregiving my now dead daughter for 18 mos with a torn rotator cuff? AND since I don't do opioids, I took a BC powder- look up the contents. #IYKYK Also, I rcvd a steroid injection the day b4 for pain. I don't do well with steroids at all and was really anxious, cuz they def make folks jumpy. You never asked. You attacked. I hadn't eaten, I mentioned that as well, and I'm hypoglycemic, so I headed to my new fave restaurant for a healthy meal, no booze, just the sun and water for company. Did a little walk about in New Baltimore, then headed to Marine City. Chatted with a lovely mom and her little, met a couple from St. Clair down by one of the gardens on the waterfront. PTSD is a cruel roommate, but I am a #Warrior and #Survivor. I wish you the best. Never, in 40 years of being a #TeacherConsultant have I EVER reduced a parent, child, admin, caregiver, teacher, superintendent, peer, ANYONE, to tears. Letting someone leave a session that was supposed to be informational, NOT an interrogation in the state that I was, is cruel.

The lady that works the office does not take down any notes when you call. She will not let the doctor know if you have an issue. She will get upset your short term is looking for specific paper work that they are not seeing from her. If your insurance messed up and you have to get a refill on your pills but cant. Do not bother calling because the front office lady will not take the notes down and will never call you back. They had me going 3 days cold turkey and didn't care that I suffered withdraws. Now if the Doctor leaves prepare to have a rude awakening if you get the blonde physician assistant. I came in because I couldn't take waiting anymore and I was not sleeping, eating, and had thoughts of self harm. This fake doctor tells me I am too edging and she feels uncomfortable so I need to leave. Once I was up at the desk I begged for help and I begged for ideas on how to handle the situation they have put me in. Oh that situation, try not sending correct paper work for 2 months to your short term disability office. Well the next thing that happened was extreme. Their office assistant told me to get out and stop yelling.. all in which I was not doing. Next thing I know the blonde fake doctor is pushing her power and smiles at me saying "I will just call the cops". Next thing I know the office lady tells me I am discharged.. I am now without a doctor, needing help, and off the program that the doctor that's not there started for me. I have been to a few but heed my words.. just because they seem nice doesn't mean they care..
