At first the lady gave us a business card and said we need to make a call with our questions about the insurance co-pays. I asked the lady if that person works in the office and she said yes. I found the South Florida Lower Extremities Center on my friend Mio's recommendation since she works there. It's conveniently located near work and was able to secure an appointment with minimal wait. (Side note: they were even kind enough to reschedule my first appointment without penalty when I had a work emergency the day of my first appointment.) The office is relatively close to I95, has an ample parking lot and is clean & well-kept. Dr. Igor Zilberman was the podiatrist who saw me and he was very knowledgeable. From the X-rays his staff did on my "hooves" he determined I had a stress fracture on my foot, and clearly explained that a fracture is not just the crack you hear in the movies.
