So y'all have seen my various checkins at parks and HIIT gyms. Combine that with the gray hairs I mention in my barber reviews, and my feet developed a nagging soreness. I found the South Florida Lower Extremities Center on my friend Mio's recommendation since she works there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's conveniently located near work and was able to secure an appointment with minimal wait.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] (Side note: [[HIGHLIGHT]]they were even kind enough to reschedule my first appointment without penalty when I had a work emergency the day of my first appointment.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]) The office is relatively close to I95, has an ample parking lot and is clean & well-kept. Dr. Igor Zilberman was the podiatrist who saw me and he was very knowledgeable. From the X-rays his staff did on my "hooves" he determined I had a stress fracture on my foot, and clearly explained that a fracture is not just the crack you hear in the movies. He and his team prescribed a gradual treatment plan and followup. I would certainly recommend this office for any sports injury treatment for your feet. read more

I probably will never be able to find enough wonderful adjectives to describe my experience with Dr. Nooshin Zolfaghari and her staff. But, here's my story and I will try! I always wear shoes in my home. On May 6, 2025 I went outside for one minute without shoes and as I came in the house, my fourth toe on my right foot got caught between the doorstep and the door as I closed it. I amputated the tip and fractured the bone chipping the top of it. My husband found my toe on our welcome mat. Yuck! I went to the ER where there were two doctors and a resident who works with Dr. Zolfaghari. They successfully sewed the piece of my toe back on, however, after a few weeks the piece turned black so I had to go into wound care with Dr. ZolfagharI. Had a severe ingrown right big toenail for the past two weeks and finally decided on giving up trying to fix it myself like I usually have (NOT RECOMMENDED). Got an appointment scheduled for yesterday about four days ago and was surprised to get an opening that quickly. The office is well maintained and very clean. The staff is very professional and also extremely nice. Yeni was excellent at the front desk and took care of me as soon as I arrived. Both Crystal and Mio were great MAs while waiting for me to get seen by Dr. Zolfaghari. She was amazing. Extremely personable and very good. Took a good look at my toe issue and we went straight to the procedure. I got cryo-sprayed before I was given local anesthesia which definitely made that part a lot easier to handle, and I didn't feel the procedure at all afterwards. Got a nice care instructions package, scheduled a followup immediately and was even able to drive home. One day later, I have little to no swelling, and I am fully walking around. I understand that might not be everyone's experience, but this is a lot better than when I had these procedures done on my left big toe. Feels like I might not even need the followup appointment but will go anyways out of respect. Will come to this office going forward for any toe or foot issues. Top notch. read more

Dr. Z is very thorough & very nice but Never ever on time. I have waited more than an hour and a half for my scheduled appointments on more than 6 occasions now!! My time is just as important as the doctors! You sit in the waiting room watching employees chatting about foods & coffee that someone has brought in & not one of them says " we are sorry the doctor is running late". It's common curtesy to treat patients like they are important. As without patients You have no practice! Emergencies happen but I believe this is lack of concern as this has occurred all 6 times on my appointments! Once again I'm late going back to work, where a schedule is very important! After suffering two years with pain in my right foot, I went to see Dr. Nooshin Zolfaghari, had an initial consultation, Xray, sent for an MRI and she found the reason for my pain. She provided me with two options, one was surgery and the other one was the stem cell injections. I was amazing at discussing the pros and cons of both and finally I decided to go with her recommendation of the stem cell injections. After a month, my foot is so much better and the pain is almost gone! read more

I had an appointment with Dr. Zolfaghari this week for the first time. The office is pleasant and clean. My medical assistant was very nice and the total wait time to see the doctor was only 15 minutes. Dr. Z was very nice and took her time during the appointment. There was never a moment I felt rushed at all. She's a very sweet person, and I appreciate her expert advice and preference for trying a more conservative course of treatment to see how it goes before using an aggressive method straight away. His office staff was very casual, having personal conversations which appeared to slow down the process of getting me seen. I woke up unable to walk and she squeezed me in the same day and made a very unpleasant experience better due to her caring nature, attentiveness, and expertise. I had great toe pain for many months. Saw a podiatrist, who told me it might be an ingrown toenail and proceeded to shove a sharp instrument into the area which made it worse. I then decided to get another opinion. The second podiatrist recommended a CAT scan to assess nerve damage. My insurance plan wanted me to obtain another opinion, so I went to Dr. Z. She immediately diagnosed it as an ingrown toenail and said I didn't need a scan. She was able to perform a procedure, recommended soaks, Betadine and after one week, the pain was gone and the nail is healed ! I was a patient of this podiatrist. The staff is good and doctor is friendly. The stars is for that. I cannot give a good review because she did a surgery on my foot earlier this year to remove a bone spur and a fibroid. Honestly I thought everything was gonna be ok afterwards. It has not been the case, after 4 months my foot is hurting worse than before exactly where the heel bone spur was. It has gradually gone worse. I have gone to see the doctor numerous times. She has giving me pain meds, meds for inflammation (steroids) , change shoes, insoles (more than 3), and last a shot. I asked her many times for a x-ray, she refuse. She said is not need it. Finally I decided to go see my Primary physician, the x-ray was done on my request. I have the bone spur in the same spot. On the notes of the surgery it doesn't mention remove just scraping it. Now I went for second opinion and I am awaiting for the MRI to see what is exactly she did. I would not recommend going to this place. The explanation she gave me about my surgery does not match what she explained to me, also the fact that I am the one in pain and she refusing to follow my needs to see what is going on my foot. After many months of seeing a respected Podotrist for a foot ulcer and seeing minimal improvement I went to see dr Z and within 6 weeks of treatments my foot is totally healed!! Dr Zolfaghari is an amazing doctor , I had a motorcycle accident 8 broken bones later and a foot that was peeled like a banana ,tired of seeing all those fancy vascular surgeons and plastic surgeons all with suggestion of must have surgery for my necrotic area !!! Till a friend who had come to visit told me told me dr Zolfaghari saved his leg from high possibility of amputation and very complicated case he had , that was enough for me I met with this young , intelligent dr and not only she gave me the HOPE she also DELIVERED . My foot went from necrotic and then showing the bone with dr Zolfaghari 's intensive treatment only in a month and half to having healthy tissue and skin and No surgery . I just can't thank dr Zolfaghari and her amazing staff and associates enough . All I can and will do pray for the health of such an amazing dr who has the ability to mix the smarts of the medicine with her heart and deliver the potion of hope and health to the patients of our society .
