Pastor Jeremy is amazing . He makes service fun and is very relatable. All the pastors here are angels. I've been prayed over and held by them along with other volunteers through a dark time and healed in so many ways spiritually. I was also baptized here after a long 2 year journey back to God. The attendees are very welcoming and service is filled with the Holy Spirit. I can see it and feel it, every service. They accept you as you are with open arms. God called me home and this just happened to be the church that made that possible for me. Thank you , Cornerstone !

The church offered many different kinds of small group opportunities. Parking lot volunteers were helpful in making sure you receive assistance, if necessary or desired. I was let down by a post-service encounter. One of the prayer partners (older woman with a Karen haircut) gave me a withering up-and-down look of disdain in the restroom during one of my Sunday morning visits. I was wearing a knee-length Boden dress, not tight jeans with a muffin top. That incident alone did not dissuade me, but it didn't help.

I also could not reconcile the racist nature of my elders with the teachings of Jesus. I go to this church with my daughter because I would do anything to spend time with her. I grew up in church and was in church if there was a door open. I lost my faith later and it isn't coming back, so this is more of a comparison to the church I grew up in and the loss of that community that came with the loss of my faith. I am not trying to convince you of my lack of faith and generally feel church is good for people. I will say that the primary reason I lost my faith is that I don't believe in things I can't touch. As best I can tell, a miracle is an unexpected outcome. A medical miracle means the doctor was wrong. **I am a doctor, we are wrong a lot and it's not a miracle. One of my greatest sadnesses in life is that I don't know how to give the sense of community to my daughter that I got in church. loved going to church when I was growing up because I felt a sense of belonging. I loved Sunday school and was very involved. I don't feel community. I have been going to this service for the last 6 months and I don't even know if they have Sunday school. Everyone seems friendly. Don't care much for pastor Darren, preaches intolerance with his acceptance.... I am sure that there is community in the small groups that they offer, but it's not like I will ever go.... I really just want community for my daughter. Was pretty disappointed in the Christmas service. Pastor Darren said he had the most convincing argument ever for the proof of Jesus. I guess I don't really expect anyone to bring me back into the fold, but I had hoped something more than "miracles are real, everyone else believes, so should you"

Anyone I've seen who has come in with a willing heart and the faith to see God move has been changed in incredible ways. I've called this place home for 3 years and I've seen relationships restored, families healed, businesses grow, minds renewed, finances Increased and so much more. The pastor not only preaches the word of God straight from the text, but he and the pastoral staff will help you apply it every day. I've never been apart of something more purposeful. This church has been a huge influence in helping me connect with God on a deeper level. I can't thank them enough.
