Every year the Bluegrass rally gets smaller and smaller. Started as a three day event, then a two…read moreday and now a one day event. Everyone is blaming everyone else for the decreases. We are a group of over 15 RVs and a total of over 30 people. This equates to over a few thousand dollars in lost fees and revenue if we do not return. Our group was very disappointed with the event this year.

The bluegrass festival also included the car show, motorcycle show, and a ton of music groups. It was so much fun to dance. The gourd festival was full of demonstrations, and artists to talk to all day long. The Pinal County Fair had Godfrey the Magician, the balloon man, monkeys, feeding Lorikeets, and a high dive. To come to this fairgrounds means you get to see a little of everything!!!

The track officials, promotor, and all the rest of the staff did an incredible job. The racing itself was super exciting and the track was wicked fast! Concessions were good, not great, but very reasonably priced. Tickets for the races are $20 for adults and children 11 & under are free. They do have beer for the adults and designated seating for those that do partake in the consumption of alcohol. Bring a stadium seat with you, you'll want one. They do sell them for $12 if you need to purchase one.

It's right in the Middle of historic Casa grande so there are some other small sights to see around. Plaques were a little hard to read at night but it was interesting learning about local history! May 31st was my son's birthday and we had finished our night out to celebrate. My older son works…read moredown the street so we stopped by the Neon Sign park to kill some time before he was off. This is a very eclectic little spot rich in history. There isn't much to it, but it is pretty cool to see the signs all lit up at night. The markers are really hard to read at night, but I took pictures of them for later reference and can always go back during the day if I want to know more. There are benches around the park so that you can pop a squat if need be and just take in the ambiance. Casa Grande was having a food truck Friday at the same time we were there, so there were lots of people and lots of activity. It is a fun little stop, but only if you are in the area, I wouldn't recommend making a drive here from far away just to see it. If you have friends or family in town visiting, they might enjoy it.

I booked my daughter's baby shower here for 08/20/2016. We met with Russell, I think about 2 or 3…read moremonths in advance. He is exceptional to work with! Friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and has a great sense of humor - thank goodness he has all of these for the 3 ring circus that rolled in the day of the shower! In our initial meeting he pulled info from us, that we hadn't even really thought about, and executed those ideas beautifully. I was so happy to see the baby blue and pastel yellow napkins and table runner (It's a boy!). It was cute and classy at the same time. Russell had decided to move us to another room within the facility, and we did not expect it and were speechless when we saw it. He told me we'd be more comfortable in the larger room (We'd had a bigger number than we'd originally thought.), and I thought that was just really nice of him to think of the customer that way. We chose a lunch buffet that was delicious and not so heavy. It's super hot here, and I don't think anyone wants to have a huge lunch. My mom & I had made all the desserts, but all of my serving pieces were in storage. Russell and crew took care of that! They made my desserts look so pretty I almost didn't believe that I had made them! I had also opted for the chocolate fountain because -pregnant lady! Speaking of the staff. My gosh, they were so nice!! So polite, but smiling and laughing with us. It just makes the event even better, more joyful somehow. I hope they had fun with us too and don't think we're nuts! The venue is GORGEOUS! It was a house that was converted into the event property, and it's really cool because there's homey touches here and there. I had my wedding reception here, and my daughter had her prom here. After our experience here, I will not go anywhere else for event planning. Their prices are competitive and fair, especially for what they offer you. You won't regret booking here!

From the beginning stages of planning their wedding Angela offered upped many suggestions to help make the day special, from where to have hair and make up done, staging of lights, chairs and tables.....etc. all the details required to make a wedding day run smoothly. Fernando ( maintenance man) was available to help in setting up and taking down lights and prepping the courtyard. Alicia ensured the bar was set up and properly stocked (very important) and the kitchen ready for the caterers. The day of the wedding was absolutely amazing and Angela was checking in throughout the event and did a follow up call the next day, great customer services. The GKI has the best views and such a comfortable feel for hosting a wedding. I would highly recommend the GKI venue and call Angela to make your event extra special.

I worked overnight while out there and after a 14 hour shift never any hot water not even like warm! The freezing water that did come out trickled out like a kinked water hose! All the staff knew we worked overnights but did that keep housekeeping from walking in our rooms 3 hours after we tried to goto sleep nope not once but three times!
