I have been going to this theatre for 8 years and the many changes I have seen take place within it have been crazy, but ultimately beneficial in the end. You have to wait an extra 20 mins. but it's worth it! Don't need my BP going up during the movie cause of the regular salted/buttered popcorn. Our seats were in the front where the bars are. Which is nice to be able to put your feet up. It was a great movie and staff is always so nice. They do have assigned seating and easily go get tickets online. Only thing is at night the teens can be out of control and looks like they might need security to check these teens skipping theaters or causing havoc.

The premises include the Casa Grande Stone Church, a former Presbyterian church now used as a performance space. I wouldn't say it's worth driving from Phoenix or Tucson just to see this museum, but if you're in Casa Grande anyway, it's worth an hour of your time.

They have the gallows trap door, a dual execution chair, a gas chamber door, and nooses people were hanged with from the local prison. Each of the nooses hanging on the wall has the mugshots of the people the nooses were used on, including Eva Dugan (the only woman hanged in Arizona who subsequently lost her head when executed). The museum also has a cabinet dedicated to the Winnie Ruth Judd, the Trunk Murderess. They have one of the monkey dolls she made. If you aren't interested in the macabre, there's furniture made out of cactus wood, and a few items from the decades past (barbed wire, saddles, Gene Autry memorabilia, etc). The museum operates on donations, and they don't stare you down if you're only able to spare some pocket change. I highly recommend going on your own personal walking/driving tour of historic Florence, though. Many 100-year-old buildings lovingly preserved and documented by the city's historical society. Gotta love that court house.

We stop here a few times a year for all our gourd needs- everyone needs gourds right? Canteen Gourds, Bottle Gourds, Club Gourds, Pear Gourds- who knew there were so many types of gourds?!? When you pull in and park at the cute home just ring the doorbell and let them know you're interested in Gourds and they'll give you a cart to start shopping. Gourds vary in price from $1 for the baby 3 inch Gourds to $17 for a 14 inch gourds. Also entertaining to watch the owner tally up and measure your gourds at checkout with their high tech gourd measuring device. :) Gourds are dried out and ready for cleaning and crafting etcetera. Gift shop with supplies and crafts on site. You can even purchase already cleaned gourds- check out their website! They also have gourd events and classes listed. Don't forget to say hello to the friendly farm cat and peacocks while you're there!

It is a 501(c)3 non-profit home to the world's oldest & continuing Jr rodeo - Florence Jr Parada. We came here for a new event for our club, Arizona Driving and Carriage Society. There is a small rodeo area with bleachers, and large parking area. It is across the street/highway from the Florence Aeromodeler Park. This location hosts a variety of festivals. Our group set up dressage arenas, a cones course and hazards (obstacles) for our carriages. We arranged to also overnight park and use the horse pens. It is a great flat area that was perfect for our needs, an Arizona Driving Trial (ADT). We loved the central location to Tucson and Phoenix participants. It is wide open and not much traffic or noise, a quiet rural location. When we stayed overnight in our RV, we were lucky to watch the Junior Rodeo practice calf riding. Those kids were dedicated and rough. Great event to host.
