Such a CUTE affordable store! I braved the Black Friday crazies and made it to The Cheeky Bean and I was so happy that it was such a calm experience. Not only did I run into a famous reality star (Jordan from The Amazing Race and Big Brother winner), I was handed a mimosa when I walked in. YES...I love to Sip N Shop. Store is clean, open and organized well. Prices are affordable and pieces are trendy and cute. I liked that they had different items to offer and didn't carry the same pieces that the other surrounding boutiques carried. The only thing is that some of the items ran small on me. A large sweater didn't fit in length on my long arms. I still bought it, though, because I couldn't pass up the deal of 40% off...plus I'll just layer underneath. haha! They also need more selection in scarves. Maybe they were all snatched up by the time I got there at 9:30. Who knows. I like this store and will come here as often as my bank account allows. A few months back I received a sweater from the Cheeky Bean as a birthday present. The sweater was too large so I went back to return it with the receipt within their 10 day notice policy for a store credit (which is the only thing they can give you anyway). The tag was removed since it was a gift. The VERY RUDE associates told me because the tag was no longer attached I could not return it. I had NEVER WORN THE SWEATER. I was only trying to exchange it for something else in the store as it was a $75 sweater that I had the receipt for! I was still planning on spending money in the store as only store credit is given. The associate was beyond rude & looked at the cash register then back at the sweater pretending like she was thinking about taking it then said "Because you don't have the tags we can't help you". From an upscale boutique in Ballantyne that I've shopped at before I was apauled that this is how they treat their customers. Let me also mention that NO ONE ELSE was even in the store shopping when I went to return it. I cannot express enough how rude the associates were to me. I will NOT recommend this store to anyone as a high class boutique as their quality of clothing can be found elsewhere where customers are appreciated and respected. VERY DISSAPOINTED. read more

I will definitely return to the Cheeky bean as they do have some really cute/unique pieces! I was impressed with the prices for the area and overall would make this a stop when looking to find that adorable open back dress or something along those lines. Where it fell a little short for me is that many of these items were not appropriate for someone who works in a professional setting...or even someone who is attending professional events. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to have two wardrobes - so I had to make the tough choice and pass on my finds this time. Owner was very helpful :) had a mix up with the blondes that worked there, after they over charged me and denied a refund I contacted the owner who helped me within seconds. I arrived to the store the following day and she was BEYONG helpful. Got my $ back and ended up spending more with her help. I went to this store for the first time last weekend and am very disappointed with their customer service. I tried to return a dress that I bought two days before, never worn, with the tags still attached and they said they don't do returns. Only store credit. I asked to speak to the owner of the shop because nobody informed me of the outrageous return policy while I was checking out. The girl at the front went and called the owner and came back and said the owner will give me a call the next day and I wrote my number down for her. The next day, no call. I called them back and the manager said that the owner was busy and she will call me later. Still no call. I called the next day and the manager said she talked to the owner and she said we couldn't do the return. This really aggravated me because they kept saying the owner would talk to me about it and never did. I know that I will never step foot in there again just for the bad customer service. Very appropriately named...chicy(cute) clothing, reasonably priced. Incredibly cheeky staff who insisted on calling me "girl" after every sentence. The clothing is cute but I will more likely take my money elsewhere- with a more welcoming staff. Other than that- they were pretty helpful, and very knowledgable on the clothing fits, sizing and brands. read more

Stumbled into this store almost a year ago by accident and have fallen in love with the store in all aspects! Allison and Justine and staff make me feel like a VIP and are so cutting edge with style and fashion. They have transformed my confidence and closet! Yikes. Really cute store with what appears to be nice, affordable clothing. Double check the brands that you buy from here. Bought a cute, flowy dress for my honeymoon and wore it once before going. Tag said to hand wash and hang dry, so that's what I did. The dress turned into a tight fitting shirt that I will never be able to wear again. After speaking with a sales associate, I was informed that "since it has been worn and tags have been removed, they cannot do anything about it." So, beware of what you buy. I won't be frequenting this store based on quality of product. Unless you never wash anything? **Update: Same sales associate called to offer 15% off my next purchase. Slightly considerate, except that I'm already out more than $50 and don't trust the products at this store.** read more

I got a recommendation from a friend to shop at The Cheeky Bean. I went in and tried on a lot of clothing and was shocked that it fit me so well. My boyfriend was there with me and was planning on paying for some of my purchase as a gift. He asked the girl working if he could use the restroom, she told him that they didn't have one and that he could go to another store in the shopping center to use theirs. After he left 2 women came in and one asked if she could use the restroom. The clerk said Sure, no problem let me show you where it is. I was completely shocked, because she told us she didn't have a restroom! When I got out of the fitting room I asked the clerk aside why she lied and refused my boyfriend from using the restroom. She said that, the manager didn't want men to use the restroom in there, because of how they act. WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN? Then she said that was her managers rule. I said that is very discriminatory and I no longer wish to purchase anything. THAT IS COMPLETE DISCRIMINATION. If you have a bathroom either make it for employees only, or let every paying customer use it. read more

I purchased a dress from the Cheeky Bean over the Christmas holiday. I made this purchase over the phone (as they do not have many products on their website. I told The Cheeky Bean my measurements and was assured that a size Medium would be the perfect fit. The dress cost me approximately $150 Canadian. I was informed the day after purchase that my postage cost would be a little over $30. I was a little peeved that I found out this cost after I had already purchased the dress. Oh well. The dress arrived, and GUESS WHAT?! It didn't fit. Not even close. When I called to ask what the process would be in exchanging for a different size, I was told I would need to pay the postage fee to return the dress and the fee again to send out another dress. As this would make my total postage cost OVER $90 I asked if they would assist with the fees as this was their mistake in sizing (and as I was a long term customer). NOPE. They are a "small business" that cannot afford to do such thing. Well, as a small business, I would have hoped that they would care more about customer service. I recently didnt have time to shop before attending a wedding and they sent me pictures to my phone of various options, pulled the few aside i wanted to try and had them available in the dressing room for me to try on quick to make getting in and out as easy as possible!
