Located right by the Gordon train station it's easy to pick up a quick chick meal and go. The chicken isn't as good as Chargrill Charlies or even Woolworths marinated whole chickens, but the local shop is generous with their helpings and make sure you get the chicken salt with your chips.

There is little competition in Lindfield as the chicken shops there are pretty dreadful. Roseville Chickens and Salads is pretty basic in design and decor but its the food that is always super fresh and delicious. The chickens are renowned for being succulent and tasty. They also sell Lilydale chickens so if you prefer free range, make sure to ask for a Lilydale. The owners are very nice and are always working around the clock. There is a salad section with coleslaw and other salads which are the perfect side dish with a chicken. They also sell other food items such as a potato mix, chicken chips and more recently have introduced milkshakes. The prices are fairly reasonable and the quality of food is fantastic. Many repeat customers at this chicken shop enjoy a regular meal here! In house dining isn't that appealing but most people purchase chickens for takeaway.
