If no stars was a thing..... I am extremely unsatisfied with the amount of people employed and working in this store and the line to pick up an online order was well over 20 minutes. Associates are having conversations about concerts when the restroom is unclean and smells horrid. One of the associates became confrontational in front of the store manager while I simply asked why are there so many associates and no one is helping. I will NOT be returning. I'm super glad I opted out of applying for their credit card. I'd rather shop elsewhere. Horrible customer service. Manager is non responsive and existent. read more

I will provide a condensed review to save everyone from wasting their time at this establishment. DO NOT COME HERE...PERIOD. Seriously, just don't even bother coming to this location. My best friend and I came here on Friday December 21, 2018 to do some Christmas shopping for his 7-month-old nephew. For starters, we were not greeted when we walked in the store, as the associates were too busy socializing among themselves. Also, the store was a complete mess! There were clothes all over the floor, off the hangers, unfolded...it was just completely disgusting and sloppy. No one asked us if we need any help, so my best friend and I decided to conduct a little experiment. We decided to time how long it would take for someone to come over and ask us if we needed some help. The entire time we were conducting this experiment, the employees were just giggling and laughing amongst themselves. Nevertheless, more than 15 minutes had passed by, and still, no one came to ask us if we needed any assistance. Angry and feed up, my best friend and I put down the outfit set's that we found for his nephew. I informed him that our money would be going to an establishment that actually cares about our service. The worst part is that we were in the front, positioned right by the associates! After this pitiful visit, we went to JCPenney's; which is in the same center and found super cute outfits for his nephew. In conclusion, the results of our experiment concluded that this Children's Place location is pathetic! I would not even refer my worst enemy here, as this place should be condemned. read more

This place is a horrible representation of the company. The workers weren't even distinguishable dressed like they just rolled out of bed in hoodies. When I was in the store they were yelling back and forth across the store about Going to get lunch. The store was a wreck with boxes of hangers and junk displayed haphazardly around the store. I've came to this store a couple of times, I've ordered online and picked up at the store and have shopped in store as well. I never had a problem with customer service until yesterday with the girl named Joseline. She was pretty rude to the guy in front of me and was rude to me as well. She said she couldn't use more than one place cash rewards according to "her rules". She ended up scanning the second one after I asked her multiple times to scan it but I know it didn't go through because she scanned it when she already had processed for payment. I don't know why she works in customer service if she can't handle pleasing customers because at the end of the day we're a paying customer. She needs to get fired. read more

This place deserves 0 stars. I had to wait in a line wrapped around the store for over an hour just to pick up an online order. Only to get to the front and be asked to step aside and wait longer because they couldn't find my order. I had to leave and come back, and when I returned they still didn't have my order ready. They only had one associate working the register and pulling online orders from the back the entire time, while the manager and other associates folded clothes on the floor. How backwards... Let's have one person tend to a line of over 20 customers, look for online order and leave customers waiting in line for an hour, while everyone else folds clothes. I was vocal about this issue, and management did nothing but offer me the number to file a complaint with corporate. I launched a complaint with corporate, and all they offered was an, "I'm sorry you experienced that." The end. What's clear to me is this is not a customer oriented establishment, and that tone comes from the top. I will never shop at this place again! read more

I live near the store and went there multiple times during the last 2 years. It used to be extremely desorganized, a real mess. I am reading other reviews and cant agree more in this point. BUT, Last week, I went there again, (I havent been there for almost 6-8 months), and got a very very nice surprise. It was tailored to perfection, super organized. I have been told the management changed recently, and you can totally tell. The staff were very helpful and polite. It was absolutely perfect. I am totally coming back. I called the Meyerland Plaza Location in an attempt to locate a specific polo style shirt for my son's school uniform. The person who answered the phone appeared to be busy, and my inquiry seemed to be an imposition for her. Unfortunately, I do not recall her name, but was taken aback by her lack of professionalism. As a result I certainly would not recommend that location to anyone wishing to buy clothing for their children. Poor customer service should never be the appropriate response when communicating with a potential customer. read more
