Don't do business with this company. Didn't finish work, sprayed sealer on a wet chimney causing it to turn white,filled cracks incorrectly and used my credit card without authorization. Poor work period!!!!! Run from this company. read more

Outstanding sales, service, and problem resolution. These are the pros; I wouldn't even consider using anyone else.

Chimney Pro's installed a stainless steel liner in our chimney eleven years ago. Since then they have performed an annual inspection and cleaning when necessary. They do the inspection for free and this maintains their lifetime warranty of the liner. I find Chimney Pro's to be very honest as they have only recommended cleaning every other year. So they have not charged us for five service visits just to inspect the liner. When cleaning has been required, Chimney Pro's has done an excellent job while being very tidy during the process and willing to explain what they are doing. I trust Chimney Pro's and believe they are quite the value. They will be inspecting and cleaning our chimney for years to come. read more

Very professional and thorough of inspection. Said chimney didn't need cleaning and I scheduled an appointment for next year.

1. Getting reimbursed via home insurance requires submitting properly written paperwork. Chimney Pros apparently "forgot" to add $1,500.00 for "tuck pointing" and submitted paperwork to our insurance company without it, making reimbursement for that $1500 impossible. I say "forgot" because they have offered no other explanation despite being asked multiple times. On this issue, we've been ghosted. 2. Chimney Pros requested a handwritten, undated signature to legitimize a verbal request to provide an "add-on" to their existing contract -- $1,500.00 to tuck point. But their own contract specifies and promises that any additions to their estimate of costs will be presented as a printed Change Order. Never happened. The additional $1500 simply started showing up in their bills. 3. What kind of company types, in ALL CAPITAL RED LETTERS, on all of their statements, ***DO NOT GIVE THE CREW ANY MONEY*** ? 4. I found their invoices (and invoices that looked like statements, and financial contracts with dollar amounts not immediately found in all invoice-statements, and financial documents that were neither invoices nor statements, all (or most) with running totals that did not begin with the contracted amount) confusing. It is possible that this company may do the best chimney work on earth, but, in my humble opinion, you wouldn't know it by their estimating and billing procedures. read more

The Chimney Pros did a chimney restoration on both of our chimneys after a chimney fire. Tanner was the brick Mason who did our brick work with Bruce as his assistant. They both earned 5 stars. Tanner did an excellent job choosing the replacement brick and mortar to match our existing brick and mortar. The transition between the existing brick and the new brick is flawless. Both Tanner and Bruce kept our property clean and tidy during the project, and left the work site in perfect condition. Tanner has excellent communication skills. He always calls before his arrival and is on time. Tanner kept us updated throughout the restoration and fully answered all of our questions. We highly recommend The Chimney Pros. read more

Chimney Pros "canceled" my 3 day job due to weather, did not give a me a reschedule date but cashed my $3,400 check on a $7,000 job . After a few weeks they never gave me a date to reschedule, I asked then, to cancel the job since had no start date on a 3 day project and I must plan for it. They are taking $500 deposit plus the permit...well over $700 for doing absolutely nothing. Stay clear of this group. ( I have paid them well over $400 for all the inspections). We were getting crazy, outrageous estimates from Jack Pixley Chimney Sweeps to replace the chimney liner and add a new Chimilator to the top of our chimney. I called several different contractors and our neighbors had used The Chimney Pro's before. The estimator was very professional and provided an estimate for service of 1/3rd the amount of Jack Pixley Chimney Sweeps. The installers on the day of service were somewhat lacking in professionalism and after I had signed off on the work order that they had "not damaged our home during the service" I noticed that the wall in the front room had a hole in it from the front door handle going through the wall. Not a big deal but, a hassle. I also noticed that they had cleaned up their buckets outside, washing out the morter mix and left residue in our landscaping. Overall, the service was good for the money and we have our chimney back in working order so that we can burn fires this winter. read more

Do NOT waste your money or time with the Chimney Pros LLC, I have done that for you! Poor customer service, overpriced for the work performed and absolutely no follow through on repairs. Technician was polite but arrived late and was not professionally dressed. On 10/28/16, I told the tech the issues I was having with the fireplace and how it was performing irregularly. He determined it was the burner assembly and needed to be repaired and would have to order the part and that it shouldn't take more than a couple of weeks. I assumed I would have received an estimate for the parts cost within a few days but never did. So a couple of weeks went by and I never heard from them, this is around 11/9/16 so I called in and left a message. Someone did call me back and stated that they are waiting for the part from the manufacturer and they will contact me. A few more weeks have gone by so on 12/9/16 I called in and spoke with the owner, Troy. He said he was on the road and asked that I text him my info so he can look into it, so I did. I haven't heard back from the owner of the business! So one week later on 12/14/16 I called back. Receptionist said she needed to contact the Tech and would call me right back. ...still waiting to be contacted on 12/16/16. Cleaning of the gas fireplace is mediocre at best, I paid $179 for the tech to spray/wipe down glass and run a vacuum to suck out the dust. read more

Our insert was nearing 25 years old and finally died. I didn't even have to think of who to call...it was obvious...the Chimney Pros. I'd used them before for another job and my experience the second time was just as good as the first. The crew at the Chimney Pros is extremely courteous, communicative and offers great products and pricing. They're not entry level like the local fireplace showrooms (and why would you _want_ entry-level when dealing with something like a chimney and fire!) and they're not outrageously priced - they offer great products and service. The insert was replaced quickly and in a matter of hours, we were back in business with a great replacement insert that looks much more contemporary than our last one, and even has a remote control to turn it on and off for the completely lazy American in me.
