Hands down the best Gongbao/ Kungpao chicken the York region!…read more I ordered twice with uber eats and couldn't resist visiting the third time in person. Upon visiting I was a bit disappointed that they don't have dine-in service. Only take-out. But nevertheless, the people at the counter are kind and quick. My order arrived within minutes! Just to keep in mind, visiting the store is a bit cheaper (20%) than Uber eats. So if you're close by, don't forget to get their Gongbao chicken! I'm yet to try other delicacies from this store. Don't mind the store for its looks, it has no dine-in facility, just a few chairs and two tables but the food is yum!

It was fantastic value especially for those who like variety, it came with an egg roll, teriyaki beef, wontons, breaded shrimp, chicken chop suey, sweet & sour chicken balls, spare ribs & chicken fried rice. Also added a spring roll. "A little bit of everything" was a lot of food. The rice had a good wok flavour & the chop suey was pretty tasty too. There was quite a bit of chicken in both. The teriyaki beef was so-so. The rest of the items were battered & deep fried (even the spare ribs) & were ok; the sweet & sour sauce was the usual sweet goo. The outside of the egg roll broke & the inside was so-so. For the spring roll I chose pork (there's vegetable too). It was stuffed with 99% minced pork & had a simple soy sauce based flavour. It was pretty good.

As I sit in my living room enjoying their #2 with beef fried rice, I can't help but insist on…read moreraving about Uncle Ming's. I discovered Uncle Ming's Chinese Restaurant 12 years ago when I was craving food, and was in no condition to drive for various reasons. I found a flyer in the living room of my old family cottage for Ming's and gave him a call for some delivery! I placed my order, and 30 minutes later Ming appeared at my door with the very food I ordered! Sadly, I neglected to tell Ming that I only had visa on me, but he didn't care. He told me to come back the next day with my card to pay for the meal. REALLY?!?!?! People this trusting still exist?!? I was in shock! So, we chowed down with delight, and 12 hours later paid for our meal. 12 years later, I still make trips to Ming's on my way into Collingwood to pick up food on my way in, and a few days later on my way back to Toronto. Ming and Monica always welcome their patrons with a big smile and make you feel right at home. I recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family who head up to Wasaga or Collingwood. Keep up the great work Ming and Monica! Rob from Toronto

Absolutely awful! This was for a special birthday dinner and it was the worst Chinese we've ever…read morehad. The chicken balls were extremely dried out. The chicken was so dried it looked like it had been cooked twice and had been left out overnight. The egg rolls were almost empty of bean sprouts and had a weird taste. Most of this food went into the compost, I just hope the bugs don't get sick!! Steer clear and spend your money elsewhere
