If you've ever wondered what it's like to be completely invisible, come on down to the Chuckwagon. Myself and three family members sat down, full of hope (and soon to be full of absolutely nothing). The bartender did acknowledge our existence initially with a cheerful, "I'll be right over!" -- a promise that turned out to be more fictional than a Disney fairy tale. Instead of coming over, she expertly perfected the art of not serving customers by exclusively tending to her friends at the bar, laughing, chatting, and clearly prioritizing everyone but us. But wait -- it gets better. Mid-shift, she decided that serving customers was overrated and serving herself was the real calling. She plopped down behind the bar, housed an entire pizza like a competitive eater, and casually sipped Mountain Dew, all while making confident eye contact with us for a solid 30 minutes like a slow-burn psychological thriller. At this point, we realized the bar's customer-to-staff ratio was perfectly balanced -- because there were no customers being served at all. An impressive business model if your goal is to win a Guinness World Record for Most Ignored Guests in a Dining Establishment. We left hungrier than when we came in, but at least now we have a great story about the bartender who redefined "service industry" to mean "self-service only." Would I go back? Only if I develop a fetish for disappointment. read more

They still made me mozzarella sticks even when I asked 7 minutes after last call. Not going to be an everybody thing but it was really nice of them. Great service. Nice staff. read more

1 person working on Tuesday night, I've owned a couple bar and grills and to expect 1 person to be a bartender, server, cook, busboy etc ..it's pretty bad when a patron has to get up from dinner to help is ridiculous!! The guy that was trying to do it all was working so hard but he's 1 person ..serious! You have great pizza but I sat there and watched 3 groups walk out because they couldn't get served wow..glad you're trying to save money with no staff!! And those stop pours on your liquor bottles ..really ?? If you don't trust your employees..fire them but to require them to use those is even more ridiculous!! We will never go back and I'm sure none of my friends will either!! read more

Whether you have the munchies or the drunchies this neat hole in the wall bar/restaurant is perfect to grab some late night bar food. I ordered from them twice. The first time I had a mushroom Swiss burger and they failed, the burger was overly seasoned overly priced and they forgot my mushrooms. I decided to give them a second chance because my home girl ordered and gave me a bite of her burger and it was delicious. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with flat fries and ask for light seasoning on the patty. They got it right the 2nd time and that shit hit the spot. Took us an hour to get our food and they were not busy, only 2 other customers in the place. Ordered a medium steak and it was dry, tough, overcooked and charred around the edges. They didn't charge us for the steak which was the only good thing about our visit. read more

After a long day hunting pheasant our group of 10 came in here to eat. The reviews we looked at were ok and we were hungry. We got there about 7pm or so, had a big table and there were only 2 other customers and they were sitting at the bar. We were brought menus pretty quickly by a cheerful waitress. Another waitress came over and took our drink orders, mostly it was water and tea. It did take a while to get our drinks and a couple of guys had to ask again to get theirs. Our orders were pretty simple, the menu had a pretty good range of choices and mostly it was pizza, some burgers, a few appetizers and one guy ordered a steak. We came to find out the women (girls) who were working were the only staff in the place. One had only been working there a few days and the other was on her 2nd day. Neither one knew how to prepare the food. They were not trained on how to prep the fryer, cook steaks or burgers, etc. They did call in someone who at least knew how to get the grill going. The wait staff was friendly but took a long time to get our food. Almost all of the orders were incorrect, the burgers were way overcooked, the steak was not good either. The only thing that was really good and really big was the pizza. If (and that is a BIG IF) I go back here, I will order pizza. I have heard it is a great "bar" to hang out in, but that is not what we were there for. read more

Oh gosh, where to start? I went here with a group of friends to grab some dinner and a drink. The Bar looks like it's been through some things and smells like stale tobacco. The servers were rude and inattentive, and despite the bar being almost empty, it took them 15 minutes to take a drink order. When my drink finally arrived it tasted like a wet cigarette. Absolutely disgusting. When we ordered our food finally after waiting for the server to come back (30 minutes) we had hardly touched our drinks. Had it been just myself and my spouse we'd have left by then. But we waited, and unsurprisingly the food was terrible. Go anywhere else. I assure you it's better read more

Best pizza I've ever had...and I've eaten pizza in NYC, Chicago, Detroit, etc. Their jalapeño pizza is not too spicy, just perfect. Definitely stop in (probably before 11pm because the atmosphere changes a bit then, but the food is still great). read more

Casual with a lot of bar games, full bar, pool, darts, jumbo janga. Bartenders have always been nice to me so I tend to come in here when I go out to be social, maybe one day I'll explore other places, but since I work across from here I tend to come here on my days off. I like to play the bar games, maybe one day if I play enough pool I won't suck at it. Lol.. better then average at darts at least they also play football-sports games on the tv my friend-friends comes in and watches I don't care for them personally. I'm usually talking to people or playing bar games. Good fun social atmosphere. read more

Yesterday we showed up with a group of 15 to 20 people. The guy at the bar instantly said the F word when we walked in and rolled his eyes. Then, immediately started talking crap about our group to the customers at the bar. We sat down and we're getting ready to order, but no one had come up to us or asked us for our drink order. So we got up and left due to the rude behavior and the employees acting like we were an inconvenience. I have never been to the chuckwagon and won't be back. We would have understood if there were a conversation about them being shorthanded and wouldn't have been able to service our group in a timely manner or how long it would've taken to get the orders out, but to be rude to a group of people trying to give their business to the restaurant is very unprofessional. read more
