Although we liked the place for the employees and the beauty, the chairs could be used as torture devices.

We love their mac & cheese and tomato risotto sides. Also, their raw oysters. Love that they have themed nights! Haven't had a chance to go to their Wednesday "Girl's Night" but it seems like such a good deal! We did try their Prime Rib Thursday but I felt like it was a little tougher than it should've been.

One time with a group of business people the server sneered at me and said I suppose you just want a burger. I ordered a Monte Cristo sandwich because I'd never had one and it sounded interesting. He brought me a burger. I sent it back. The Monte Cristo was okay, but I had to rush through it because everybody else was almost done by the time I got it. Another time we paid for their Valentine dinner experience, and the food was very slim, over priced, and we kinda didn't know how it was supposed to be served. Three small shrimp for two people. Maybe they thought it would be a romantic joke to see who offered the odd shrimp to the other. Neither my wife nor I found it amusing. Crab legs that were warm to hot on the outside and ice in the middle? Were they supposed to be hot or cold. I still don't know. The whole meals was like that and we felt rushed by the staff. Like maybe they were pushing for to many seatings in to little time. I don't recall exactly how it happened, but my wife tried to express our frustration to the owner and they laughed at us. Maybe it was just nervous laughter because they didn't know how to deal with a critique, but it was certainly off putting to me. We have not been there in a very long time. We spent a lot of money there in th epast. It used to be one of our favored business lunch and recruiting dinner spots, but then it wasn't, and it "wasn't" more than once or twice. I see people post positive things about them so maybe it was just us they didn't like. I don't know. We quit going there. Ambiance (back then) **** Service ** Food ** I have to say at least they never served us any rotten food or tried to convince me a strip was a ribeye. I can't say that about every other restaurant I've ever eaten at in Yuma. Honestly? I hope our bad experiences were the exception, and I hope they are doing well. I hope people who go there enjoy the experience. Maybe I'll try them again someday since they are still in business and other people have posted positive things about them.

My first time visiting Yuma and after reading many reviews on the various hotels in the area…read moreonline, I decided on this hotel. Hotel offers complimentary breakfast, hotel shuttle to/from Yuma airport, free parking, and close to highway 8. Customer service at the front desk was excellent. I flew into Yuma airport and because many military personnel was flying in for a training with all their bags, several non military passengers didn't get our bags on the flight. I informed the front desk that my bag was delayed and didn't know when I will get it and if it was delivered and I'm out, could they just accept the delivery. The front desk said yes and they would keep it at the front desk until I get back. I was relieved to hear that cause I was only visiting for 3 days and wanted to spend as much time with my niece and her family who live in Yuma and not have to worry I needed to be back to get my luggage. When I booked my room I requested a room away from the elevator. Didn't think the hotel review the request but they did and I was given a room away from the elevator. My room faced the farms. It was really nice to wake up every morning to see some greenery. Breakfast was very basic. After day one, I never went back. My room was clean. Bed and pillows were nice and soft. I read a review about the a/c system turning off when no one was in the room. This was what I experienced as well but I didn't mind cause it didn't take long for the room to cool down once I'm back in the room. The a/c unit by the window is loud when it turned on. I got used to it after day 1 but wish it would not be so loud. There are not many restaurants near the hotel. You'll need to Uber/Lyft if you want options for food. The hotel shuttle will take you within 3 mile. The shuttle will take you to downtown Yuma as well. Would definitely stay here again whenever I visit Yuma again.
