To potential clients considering Cleanout Krewe's services, I offer this cautionary review based on my personal experience. To prepare my mother's house for the market, I needed to clear out her extensive collections and memorabilia, which remained after an otherwise successful estate sale. Upon the recommendation of a realtor from Murrysville Berkshire Hathaway, I contacted Aaron Hayes, owner of The Clean Out Krew. When Aaron and I met in late October 2023, I explained my goal was to cover some costs for preparing the house for sale. Aaron assessed the collections and indicated he could help by leveraging his network to donate and sell items. On October 26, Aaron and his team moved everything, and I paid him $1,800 by check. He advised that he would send a contract and an inventory of all items removed from the house. Despite frequent requests and assurances, he never sent the promised documentation. Over the several months, communication was sporadic and mostly initiated by me. Ultimately, I requested the return of all unsold items. On several occasions, he committed to return items on specific dates, but failed to show. Given the strong recommendation from the realtor, I trusted Aaron. He's very personable and has long-established roots in the area. When he said he would send a contract and the inventory, I took him at his word. I trusted the wrong person. Given my experience, I advise strong caution when considering The Clean Out Krewe's services, particularly for profit-sharing arrangements. Ensure all agreements are documented in writing before proceeding. However, I do not recommend Cleanout Krewe's services. Aaron is dishonest and opportunistic. I lost my husband very traumatically and needed our large garage cleaned out. Aaron seemed very kind and empathetic. He took advantage of a widow with three children. He asked for a 5,000.00 deposit. He began the project in September and said it would be done in three weeks. He never showed when he said he would. He brought a "crew" one time. He threw a dumpsters worth of things away. He damaged the front of the garage and broke my childrens ping pong table that their dad made for them and threw it away. Not only did he not reply when I asked but he told my brother in law he didn't want to tell me. This all happened in November!!! In December after the stress was overwhelming I handed communication to my brother in law and Aaron still never showed. I said I wanted the contract canceled and my deposit back. Aaron will now not return any. Communication . My last resort is to take him to court. DO NOT TRUST HIM!!! read more

I had a deck and porch removed from my campsite. The crew assigned to complete the job were great, however communicating with Aaron was the issue. I had to initiate all the communications prior to the job, he told me on numerous occasions he would get back to me however that was BS. I would call or text myself to see what the deal was. Then upon completion I asked for a receipt for my records still have not received one. A simple reciept for his services, come on man you got my money just give me a receipt. read more
