Recently I went through the car wash and the glass of my passenger side mirror was knocked out. I didn't realize it until I left the location and tried calling but received no answer. I had no intentions of filing a claim or requesting compensation for the mirror but after speaking with a friend who suggested talking to the car wash, I figured I'd give it a try. The manager told me I'd need to fill out an incident report and Corporate would determine if they would approve or decline the claim. I had a manager follow up about 3 days later. I missed her first call and called back within 5 minutes but she had already left for the day. On the second call, she told me that because my vehicle was over 10 years old, Corporate denied the claim. When I inquired further, she then pivoted and said that there was something missing from behind my mirror that keeps it intact and they could provide photos and videos from the wash. As I expressed to her, I didn't expect anything but the reasoning behind the denied claim was insulting. She gave me 2 reasons with limited explanation and ultimately resulting in it being a fault of my own. I asked if I could escalate it further and she told me she could have Corporate give me a call but the answer wouldn't change. I've visited the same car wash and have gotten the same type of wash with my monthly membership with no problems until now. The cost of the replacement glass was $20 and would have been a small cost to maintain a customer. As a result of this incident, I've cancelled my membership and won't be visiting this location again.

That said, they are only "free" for paying customers. If you want to use just the vacuums, it'll cost you $5. In the end, it was a sweet deal because these ones really suck! Plus, they have an air spray hose for blasting crud out of the tighter, hard to reach gaps. So I got my money's worth and would certainly keep them in mind for a membership when I have a different car in the future.

With the exception of their Basic Wash, employees pre-scrub the tires and rear of the vehicle as it enters the automated wash. Unlike other competitors, I've yet to had to clean spots that were missed by the wash. The shaded post-wash customer detailing bays are equipped with their own microfiber cleaning cloth dispenser and an assortment of cleaning sprays. Other washes make the customer walk to a central station to get what they need. The vacuums were in excellent shape and did a great job of removing interior debris. You can opt to join one of Shine Time's monthly membership programs, and adding additional vehicles is discounted. If you'd rather not sign up, their single wash prices are cheaper than their competition, and in my opinion do a much better job. The only caveat is if you're traveling north on University Parkway and have to make a left into Shine Time, there is no turn lane and traffic flowing south easily backs up due to an intersection light making it difficult to find a window of opportunity to make a left into their entrance. On a busy traffic day, I would recommend going past Shine Time and turning around where it's less congested so you can make a right into their entrance.

I hadn't had the time to have my car cleaned since the last snow fell. Three Sisters Car Wash had the honor giving my car her first wash and they did a great job. Instead, the situation escalated unnecessarily, and the police were called on me over a car mat that the business had apparently misplaced.
