They have an excellent beer selection, great food, and an overall fun, welcoming atmosphere that keeps me coming back year after year. My only criticism is that staff are very proactive about clearing tables. On more than one occasion, someone has taken items without asking first, including a drink I was still planning to finish. I appreciate the effort to keep the dining area clean, but a quick "Are you finished with this?" would go a long way and make the experience even better.

We came on a particularly busy day, as there was a sports YouTuber running a charity meet-and-greet inside, and there was a line of rowdy people for the entire two hours we were there. I tried the Ohio Apple Salad to make the most of my Ohio experience! It was just alright, nothing special, and I left feeling a bit hungry still. The smoked blue cheese topping wasn't tasting super smoked, and the spiced pecans were lacking (both in spice and in quantity). The apples were nice and crunchy, but it would've been great if there were more slices! Overall, the vibes here were good, but keep expectations neutral-to-low about the food.

Love coming here! My friends, friends of friends and family comes here all the time. This is the place we all meet after work, before tribe games, to watch browns games, or just for a night out. This place is awesome! The bartenders are always hot and always very nice and and do a really good job. I've been to other bars but this the best place around. I nor any of my friends or family that have come here have ever had a bad experience. Not sure where these negative reviews are coming from because my friends and I have been here on very busy occasions and the bartenders and staff do a hell of a job making sure the customers are happy, having a good time, and have drinks. In my opinion, if you are writing negative reviews about the Clevelander, you were probably a little too intoxicated to really remember what happened. read more

Was there on tuesday with about 40 people from my company and had an awesome time! The bartender was fantastic, she hustled, was very attentive, and very pretty. She did such a good job with all of us as well as the other customers in the bar. Everyone that was there is still talking about how much fun they had at the Clevelander. We will definitely be coming back here for the good food, the great service, good drinks, and great staff. This place was packed and the bartender, I think her name was Shay handled the entire place and did with a smile the whole time. I was impressed and so was everyone else. I was there last night with a few buddies from college and we had a great time! I am usually not one to write yelp reviews but my buddies and I had way too much fun here not to tell people about it! My friends and I can sometimes be very loud and hard to deal with sometimes, however the bartender, Shea was great! She was so nice, her drinks were great, and the shots she made up were awesome, not to mention she's really hot! She made the night for us and clearly knows how to deal with a bunch of drunk frat guys like us! We are definitely coming back here because she was a funny and great bartender! read more

I've been coming here regularly for some time now and tonight was yet another incredible experience. Usually I only come on Thursdays for their Taco special that they run, until tonight. I stopped first earlier in the afternoon at the beer tub they were running out front. Not only was she a great conversationalist, she also remembered my usual drink that I order on Thursdays. Tonight ended up having some heavy traffic downtown and you wouldn't even have known there was, with how well they kept it all together. Forever supporting this place. read more

Tonight, my friends and I were treated horribly by 2 racist employees there. We received horrible service, then the bartender CALLED THE COPS because she didn't get a tip! The police said it was the dumbest call they'd received that evening. It's really a shame, because we've been there several times with no issues and have easily spent thousands of dollars there. I have to be honest. This place is 2018; the vibrations, the staff, their Gateway District Pasta, Taco Thursday's and the all around positive energy have me inside nonstop. The sound system for their music consistently sets the right environment. The women they have behind this bar, make me want to spend everything I have on me. I was in town and stopped in here before (and after) a Cavs game and loved the food. The burger menu is huge, there must be at least 20 burgers on there. The one I had was topped with pirogies and onions. It does have the feel of a college bar but I'm not complaining, the draft were cheap, the food was surprisingly great, and we had a booth all night. read more
