Jolene's was not only the CUTEST bar but the food and drinks were delish! They feature tons of cute cocktails and shots. We tried the boozy dirty Dr. Pepper and Diet Coke. They were on the sweeter side but YUMMY! Of course we had to try the tendies and snack wraps. Both very good! The snack wraps are big so definitely shareable. Tendies are also big! I also love that the tendies come with sides and sauce! The pink ranch was good. Buffalo sauce tasted identical to Frank's Red Hot. I was not a fan of the coleslaw, I think it is the type of mayo they used that caused a strange taste, but probably just a preference issue! Service was on point and attentive. A super fun night with my friend!!! I love a good country bar and Jolene's was CALLING my name!!! We went on a Thursday when it wasn't incredibly packed!! Every floor has its own fun vibe and if you are able to catch them when they have live music, it's an even better vibe!! They offer really fun drinks, some in a cowboy boot and some in the original can (I got a rum & coke in a Coke can!!!) - ran me about $14 (the usually now a days for a fun drink) but it makes for super cute pics to post right? Lol They also offer some pretty good chicken tendies and nuggets!!!! They have a bunch of sauces to pick from (even PINK ranch!!) and you can take it to go or eat it there! It is located in the basement/bottom floor though... also with the bathrooms with might be a disaster for the drunks hahaha The only downside is the menu says they have wifi and gives you a password.... But they don't actually offer the customers wifi which is horrible when there is NO service inside the building! I hope they can get that fixed because trying to order an uber home was kinda a disaster, unless we walked outside and waited in the street! What a great experience! This place is a new gem in Cleveland and I am obsessed! I got the Pink Foam Espresso Martini (how cool!!!) that was to die for and the Julia's Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy that was incredible!! The cocktails and drinks are so fun. I will be coming back to try a drink out of the plastic boots!! The rooftop is probably the best part. There are swings, ax throwing, and a view down to the street. This is such a nice spot for a summer night! We had the late night munchies and decided to order some chicken off of the kiosks on the lower floor. Jolene's is such a great addition to East 4th! I absolutely loved the vibe and the decor--there were so many cute details. I had one of their canned cocktails which is a Paloma in a Poppi can and really enjoyed it. I also had cheese fries as a snack. There is a basement as well as 3 other floors including a rooftop. I was there on a Sunday night and it wasn't very crowded so service was good. They also had a live band performing. Prices are pretty typical of the other businesses on the street. On Friday, I had some friends over before going out to celebrate my birthday and the one place I really wanted to go to was Jolene's Honky Tonk. I love anything country theme and before going, it looked so cool on Yelp and their Instagram. When we first go there, we went to the bar on the first floor and there was a band playing on a loft. The vibes were immediately there. A group of us wanted to do shots on the guitar which is 8 shots for $60 from a list of their signature shots. Dividing that up, it is about $7.50 per shot which isn't too bad. We had the strawberry lemon drop which was so good. We also got to take some pictures of the guitar and of the guitar for the memories. They have 4 floors so we made our way to the top. We stopped at each floor to get a drink. We sat at one of the cool booths on the second floor and had a waitress come ask if we needed any refills. She was really nice and talked to us for a bit. She was also really helpful. Overall, our experience was amazing at Jolene's and although it was only our first stop during the night, it was so fun that I wouldn't have cared if we stayed. Found this place while downtown visiting a friend in Cleveland for work this past weekend. We thought it was cute and kitschy so we decided to go Saturday and watch college football since they had it on. Our visit was fine. The chicken tenders and fries weren't bad and we liked the self serve option. Photo Booth and rooftop were cool. However, be aware they do not take cash and charge a 3% credit card fee plus a 5% entertainment fee. Entertainment fee wasn't disclosed so that felt a little scammy. My biggest complaint is the pricing for bubbles on the menu is not clear. We ordered a bottle of Wycliff (which is $10 at most at a liquor store) and were charged $60. In what world is a $10 bottle of Wycliff more than a bottle of Whispering Angel rose? The prices listed for Veuve were clearly bottle prices and the prosecco split stated it was a split. We assumed the Wycliff for $10 was a glass and the bottle at most would be $20-30. We were shocked to pay our bill only to discover we'd been charged $60. If the menu pricing was for a glass and we asked for a bottle, the bartender could've confirmed the price. We likely would've just chosen a bottle of rose or white wine for cheaper. Afterwards, I noticed my credit card had been charged twice so I'll be disputing the incorrect charge. Overall, we'd skip this place if we're ever downtown Cleveland again. Plenty of other sports bars and places to drink nearby. read more

My brief encounter with this place was bad enough for me to create an account and leave my first review. We left a show at Hilarities on a Saturday night and wandered into Jolene's for the first time. It wasn't super crowded but the 6 of us still backed up towards the side of the staircase leading upstairs to be out of the way so we could browse the menu. One "security" worker told us to move because we were in the way, so we all stepped forward a bit. That only put us directly in the way and in the middle of the room. We then backed up again to get out of the way and got yelled at, again. It was at that point we left without ordering and went to Corner Alley instead. I cannot comprehend how standing the middle of the room puts us less in the way than backing up to a wall? On the way out, I saw this same "Security" worker go up to another group standing near the bar. I didn't hear what he said but I assume he was dishing out more orders and has some sort of complex due to his "power." Safe to say we won't be back. read more

It is SO MUCH FUN! The swing seats at the upstairs bar, the lawn furniture seating area, and the skee ball in the basement. The only negative is the live band isn't really a band but a bunch of guys strumming a guitar and SCREAMING. It is so loud that you can't carry on a conversation and they're not good. read more

I wanted to give Jolene's a few months to settle in and see how things changed. My complaint the first time I went was that it was so incredibly loud inside and out that you couldn't even talk to whoever you were with. That would be okay if the intent was to be a club or dance destination, but if that were the case the inside wouldn't be filled with tables would include a dance floor. They need to decide what the intent of their bar is. If it's a hangout destination then the music needs to chill out. If it's a club then get rid of the tables that take up the entire inside besides walking room. As far as the noise problem, it's only gotten worse. I lived on east 4th and was forced to move because Jolene's was so unbearable. My floors would vibrate and I had art fall off the wall. I couldn't even watch tv in my apartment with all windows closed because it wouldn't go up anymore and the music still drowned it out. They also would blast the music well after close, and when there were massive thunderstorms and nobody was on 4th. One thing I am glad for is that they finally decided to change the music rotation. Same 3-4 hour long playlist that they would repeat all day for over a month. You can only hear pink pony club so many times. They tend to turn the music up at 4:30, 7:30 and then again at 9:30. Not sure why we need to be jamming out at midnight on a Tuesday but nobody enforces any kind of noise ordinance so I guess that's their prerogative. They took a once incredible street to live on that I intended to stay for years and made it a nightmare. Every time I go into another restaurant on 4th the workers and other patrons are complaining about how disruptive Jolene's has been. I hope for the sake of everyone else that still lives and works on 4th they learn to be decent neighbors but based on my experience with their landlords they won't be. read more

This place has a fun atmosphere and decent service for the crowds. I didn't order any food so can't speak on quality. However, I was highly taken back by the fees tagged onto the tab. There is a 4% service charge and 5% entertainment fee (with no live entertainment) -not sure how that works. So nearly 10% of undisclosed fees on every check. read more
