Beet salad, blood orange seltzer, elderberry seltzer

Great experience! Came in and found a spot at the bar before a Cavs game! You can order online by QR code and get your drinks and food. They have regular bar top seating and then an overflow area for plenty of walk-in space. For drinks we got 2 ciders which were refreshing, then each tried a house seltzer flavor- definitely recommend!! We ordered the dry rub wings, flank & chimichurri, and beet salad for food. The wings were an absolute stand out! They came steaming hot and had amazing flavor, the bleu cheese dipping sauce was really delicious and we used it on our other dishes. The side of hot sauce was also flavorful. The only reason it wasn't a 5/5 is that we did not have a server, just picked up our own drinks at the bar and had food runners to bring out the food but the app kept selecting a 20% or more tip and charged my husbands card multiple times before our tab was closed. We will have to get to the bottom of the charges today. But great night had by all!

Cute place in a very cute area of downtown Cleveland. I ordered the octopus because the reviews raved how tender it was but it was not tender at all! The flavor was great but the chewiness was disappointing. I eat octopus all the time. I've had great octopus but this was not.

Love the Shared Plates option. We came in a party of three and chose five plates to share. Other than two photos that posted, we also had Spicy Rigatoni (not really had much kick), Wood Fired Ribeye and Josper Fired Pork Chop. Love the octopus that was tend and welled flavor. The ribeye and pork weee fine but bit pricy. The peppers had too much sauce and a little bit burned, but great taste anyway.

We had drinks and food here before the Springsteen concert. The drinks were priced comparable to other places and were good. However, their food prices are very inflated with very small portions and just okay. Probably would not return.

Fantastic food that is all shareable or grab a couple for yourself alone. Delicious pear and white balsamic gimlet. Huge space. Octopus was delicious with tender tentacles atop a red pepper aioli. Fried cauliflower was flavorful with tasty truffle sauce as well. The best dish was unexpectedly the "spicy" patatas which were actually not spicy but just very flavorful crispy baby potatoes. The crisp was divine! The sticky honey fried crispy chicken was epic. Juicy, sweet, crispy! Highly recommend.

The food is next level good here and pairs well with their brews. Beef sliders check. Chicken wings of course. But I wasn't expecting to have one of the best salmon dishes ever. Perfectly seared and on top of corn chowder, fried carrot, charred corn and basil oil. A complete carpet bombing of flavors. The flank steak with chimichurri was also awesome. The tap list is solid and diversified. I really enjoyed the Fox's Schedule - Dark IPA at 7.2% ABV. Good orange peel flavors balances with a toasty black malt. The place is popular. Recommend getting reservations.

So ate here a decade ago. And for us not to go back somewhere, it must've been entirely not memorable then. So we tried it today before a comedy show and the first thing I wanna say is great weight staff very attentive. We had Shishido peppers appetizer, which was good, we had bone marrow, which our second attempted bone marrow first one was amazing at another restaurant and this one just felt like fatty tissue. Then not a lot of flavor. Portions were inconsistent. Also one bone was really deep. One bone was negligible. They brought out a new bone for us and we didn't even complain. We just pointed it out. That's great service. My wife had meatballs which she liked didn't get a picture unfortunately I had some sticky Korean chicken, which was flavorful but nothing that's gonna end up being memorable I didn't care for the coleslaw. My wife liked it and then the pickles tasted like bread and butter, pickles and those were good. Overall, it was just OK and I really wanted it to be wow. If you look at my other reviews, I am usually not. Caustic or anything so giving a three star should probably be 3 1/2 stars but they don't let you do that. One of the things that I remember from the first time we went was that they had all sorts of charcuterie boards, but speaking to the server, they said that Covid killed lunches for business, and they had to get rid of their deli kind of hard to be called butcher in the brew if all you are as a brew now. We probably won't go back.

Very tasty! Came on a concert night so it was very crowded which made it very loud, but it's a cool vibe inside and I like the concept of being able to order on your phone or from a real person. We had a real person and service was very prompt! We got the pretzel, baked Brie, cauliflower, sliders, and patatas bravas. Sliders were fine, potatoes were solid, more Smokey than spicy. Highlights were the other three dishes. The baked Brie was really good, enjoyed the apple addition and it was a nice extra dip for the pretzel! Pretzel was very soft and a good amount of salty, the dips it came with were great especially the garlic caramel! And the cauliflower was a great crispy texture, the sauce it sat on was delish. Would love to come back to try the pastas or pizzas, corn dogs and wings!

Oysters, Peach & Pork Rillettes & Java Pork Belly
    Dan M.

This was a brewpub that served a good amount of food too. The atmosphere was modern with outdoor tables and loud music playing. The service at the bar was friendly and helpful while the food came out quickly. We ordered the flight and bites pairing ($32). There were four beers and three food items here. I will describe and give thoughts on the food options. The presentation was great. Oysters on the Half-Shell - There were two oysters on the half shell with a bacon mignonette and bacon bits present. This was solid. The oyster appeared fresh, but the mignonette was already on top, and it was a little overpowerful. I would have preferred it on the side. Peach and Pork Rillettes - This came with a peach and pickled Fresno chile compote and toasted ciabatta. This was good and tasty. The combination of compote and pork really was appetizing. It was unique as well. Java Pork Belly - This was mole adobo pork belly with cacao and espresso crema as well as a chicharrónes crumble. This was unreal. The pork was not too fatty and tasted like a combination of bacon and a well-cooked pork chop. The chicharrónes was a nice added crunch. It was one of the better bites I had in a while. Will I go back? Yes.

    Spicy rigatoni.

I came here with two of my co-workers as we were in town for a trade show. This is one of my favorite places to come in Cleveland. The beers are great, I'm a big fan of the Albino Stout. Since there were 3 of us we tried several plates. First we had the grilled Octopus, soooo good. One of my top 2 favs, cooked perfect, it was smokey almost tasted like a steak with a great sauce. Next were the pork belly bites, these were my other top 2. It's hard to choose which was #1, if I had to pick it may be these. Delicious. Next was the spicy rigatoni, very good, nice flavor, not too spicy, but a little heat. The wood-fired dry rub wings. Very good, smokey, a little messy as far as grease. But very good, a good compliment to the pasta. Then the corn dogs, my coworkers comment before was "I don't really liked corn dogs." I told him to try one as I thought they were great. After eating one he said "that was the best corn dog I've ever had.". The sauces help but the homemade corn dogs are very good. I was good after 5 dishes but my coworkers were still hungry. We got the beef sliders next. They're good, the burgers are cooked well, the flavor is nice. But compared to other plates, this was lower on the scale. Next was the Cacio e Pepe, it's good, the spicy rigatoni was better, I think if you had this with the dry rub chicken it would complement nicely. But by itself it's just so so. Last was the pork-chops, honestly my least favorite. They had a very pickle-ish after taste, I don't like pickles so it's not for me. All and all a great meal, the only reason I gave 4 stars vs 5 is because the first time I came here. They had shrimp and grits that were A-mazing! I came back just for the beer and shrimp and grits. So I'm sad it is no longer on the menu. I literally bragged to my coworkers about how good they were when I tried them. If you can put the shrimp and grits back on the menu I'd give this 5 stars. But even without them it's an amazing place to visit.

A variety of dishes that all tasted delicious! Each had a unique and different flavour, so you can't go wrong with any choice. My favourite was the black truffle meatballs. So good! They also have a big selection of drinks, though I didn't try any myself. Served was attentive and great. Note that they only have QR code menus, so if you're looking for an updated picture of their menu on Yelp, you're better off going directly to their website.

Wow! Just WOW! First timers in from Buffalo. As a former restaurant owner let me say, "well done! Bravo!" First and most important, shout out to JESS our main server! She was friendly and on top of it. I had random question for her and she was happy to help! Thanks Jess! She deserves a raise! lol The set up for service in the high top and patio areas is order on line only at your pace. I liked it. The bill is right on you phone so you can pay when you are ready. The kitchen has a nice hold on the pace of food orders coming in. We never waited. I attached pictures of what we ordered. All items we shared but can easily be a single meal. We wanted an array of different items to give to give a thorough review. Every single bit was delectable! Mouth watering goodness. From a modern spin on cooked carrots to flank steak that will knock your socks off! The vibe is rustic modern maybe funky fits. Whatever you call the esthetic, it's cool. you must check it out if in downtown Cleveland. They are on their game and I wish they would open in Buffalo! They would gel perfectly with our Brewery scene.

I stumbled upon Butcher and the Brewer while on a late night hunt for food. I hadn't done any research, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The waiter explained the shareable menu items and a few recommendations, including the sticky chicken. Out of all the things we tried, I still think about the amazing crispy brussels. The brussels were paired with the most amazing tart goat cheese, cherry tomatoes, maple syrup and pork belly. The sticky chicken is definitely worth trying and had that perfect crunch reminiscent of Korean fried chicken. This place is great for late night eats or a family style dinner. The restaurant is very large, spanning 2 floors and extremely spacious with an upscale feel!

A great touch is the 1 pinball machine in the corner. Older game but it does take up something to do with friends. As with service we were told that the bar is extremely behind by a rude bartender named Meg. You can tell she was overwhelmed and just seemed to be having a rough day. A few minutes later we were told by staff that the kitchen was now closed. Pretty strange as the menu is mainly all bar served fried food or burgers etc. The bartender also announced that they were out of fish as well. I continued to order drinks, they were cold and tasted as advertised. About an hour or so later , the kitchen was then re opened when the bar was less crowded. I order a dozen wings, garlic Parmesan with ranch. The wings were real solid. Nice and crispy and the garlic and parm combo was just enough. The basket of fries we got were average fries. Not crispy, nor salty but atleast they were hot. The prices were about average, no complaints about that. Overall, the bar does not seem to handle stress or large crowds very well. My wings were good, fries were average like I said. My friends attend this bar often and did tell me that this bar is not like this usually. May have been a rough day. I assume I will be back again, I wouldn't pick this place to go to but the location is close enough to the area we hang out. Not so much of any certain type of theme at the bar but I did notice the staff recognize many patrons by name so it will continue to be the neighborhood bar for many. Overall a 6.7 out of 10.

I wanted basically everything from the menu that came vegan (spoiler alert there are tons and tons of things) but gastric space comes at a premium on vacation so we settled on the fried cheese. I was very excited to see the Polish boy (and vegan option no less) I didn't have much of a choice. GF ordered the vegan pierogi platter with vegan kielbasa on a bed of kraut. Firstly the fried cheese was head and shoulders above any mozz sticks or anything of the sort that I have had in memory. The breading is seasoned and crispy and heaven on earth. The cheese is PIPING. Like you will burn yourself if you, like me, have no patience. The accompanying tomato sauce is also steaming. So good. The Polish boy was also in a league of its own. Love that they have a vegan version. What a combo. Probably one of Cleveland's most important community contributions. We ordered the latkes to go and they were orgasmic. What a special place.

The Harp... all I can say is WOW -- a hidden gem!…read more I've literally lived on the west side, right down the street, and never tried The Harp. Me and my babe were riding down Route 2 talking about wanting something good and different, and he was like, "You wanna try The Harp?" I said you know what... let's do it! We always thought it was super upscale -- whole time we were wrong... but in the BEST way. The vibe is nice, cozy, and welcoming, and the service? On point. Now let's get to the FOOD. Because baby... that's what we came for I was scrolling the menu and got hype seeing vegan options (you already know that warms my heart ). I kept eyeing the vegetarian boxty -- an Irish potato pancake -- something different. I was like hmm... maybe. Then I switched it up and said nah, I'm getting the fried green tomato wrap BUT WAIT. The waiter walked past with a plate that smelled SO good it literally stopped me mid-thought. I'm like hold on... what IS that?! She said, "That's the salmon boxty." Me and my babe looked at each other like... yeahhh we both thinking the same thing He ordered the steak boxty, and I got the vegetarian boxty. Listen... 10/10. MUST TRY AGAIN. Huge portions, flavorful, and DIFFERENT in the best way. That Irish potato pancake was loaded with sautéed mushrooms, zucchini, squash, spinach, onions, and carrots, all topped with a creamy spinach sauce. Not dry, not skimpy -- just straight up delicious. And the price? I definitely appreciated that too. The drink menu looked good -- I didn't indulge, but I did sip his "Clair Cooler" and babyyyy... nice, strong, and worth it Safe to say... we'll be back again and again

This place has been on my list forever so am happy to say I've finally stopped by…read more I came here for lunch with a friend on a Saturday. They have their own parking lot (on both sides of the restaurant) which is a big positive given their location. The interior was much larger then I expected, I can see it being good for large parties of people. My friend and I both opted for the crab cake sandwich (I switched out the chipotle aioli for the lemon one with no issue) and a side of fries. It was a very solid sandwich with very solid crab cakes. The service was attentive without being overbearing which I appreciated. Overall would recommend! I'd like to stop by and try more things.
