While this review is dreadfully overdue, it is no less important. It is my sincere pleasure to…read morewrite this review for Naima Blasco and the Boutique Concierge team. Our travails started with Covid when our business started to suffer and we lost our father. We were inundated with paperwork, questions, decisions, processes, and nobody to help us. Something had to change, but we really didn't know what we had to change. We finally identified that running around to various mailboxes, changing addresses with the City, scanning mail, paying bills, and doing other quotidian activities was taking up an inordinate amount of time of our day, not awarding us a large return on time investment, and certainly not helping our collective mental health at all. On top of this, we had to travel quite a bit for work so these quotidian activities were piling up with inevitable consequences. A friend of mine recommended that I use a concierge service. I had never heard of the term outside a fancy hotel lobby. Enter Naima and Boutique Concierge. Mamma fricking mia. It was like a dream. They took care of everything. They picked up mail, sorted through the junk, sent relevant paperwork to the four main recipients of those mail and bills, they organized furniture delivery, they organized carpet cleaning, packing, and shipping, they organized a system to forward mail from one mailbox to another, they tirelessly wrote to various companies, city offices and other contacts to update our addresses, they helped us with the estate process of our late father... what didn't they help with?!?! What I liked best is that when I wasn't sure if a task was delegable to Naima, I could just ask! Isn't that nice? I've never felt so comfortable trusting someone enough to just ask them if they could help me with something - I felt that with Naima and still feel it today. In fact, it's helped me ask for help from others too: that's invaluable for me more than I can ever describe. I can't decide whether I value the increased productivity or the calmer mental state that I received from Naima and her team. It's of course both, but the debate between the two is almost fun in my mind. Needless to say, whichever one you want, and especially if you want both, do yourself a favor and give Boutique Concierge a call. They are meticulous, empathic, courteous, helpful, and a partner for everything you wish to do in your professional life.

I had the pleasure of working with REMI again last week, and I can't express how thrilled I am with…read morethe results As some have mentioned, REMI has a keen eye when it comes to picking out what best suits your style and body type. However, he occasionally picks out a style that I've considered trying out but have been too scared to try. This time around, I have no need to worry because I know that what he's picked out will fit me, so I can now fully convey my style. The entire experience was AGAIN delightful, from the welcome, to the try on's, and even feedback after the fact. Because I was in the midst of relocating, REMI didn't have the ability to personally judge some of my outfits. Instead, I took a few pictures and he provided feedback. I've provided screenshots below. They were extremely helpful and some items that I thought I'd have to give up, wound up only needing to be shrunk or were better suited for another season. REMI is passionate about his craft and it clearly shows in his work. I cannot recommend him enough, and I can't wait to work with him again! Thank you for making me look and feel amazing

I started working with Remi in 2016 when he edited my wardrobe. We gave away a few large bags of…read moreclothes which did not look good on me. I would have saved money if I had connected with him sooner & not made many wrong choices in shopping for clothes. He updates my personal fashion style every year & help me look my best from head to toe. I now live in NYC but shop with Remi when I am back in town visiting. Whenever I need to add any pieces to my wardrobe, he will send me links to items that he likes for me to buy & email helpful fashion tips. He also suggests outfits for me to wear for special events I am attending. Most recent, I had to buy new eyeglasses and sent Remi pictures of me wearing different frames. He helped me select the perfect style and color for myself to complement my face shape. If you are ready to invest in yourself, I would highly recommend Remi. He is very good at what he does and knows how to create the best first impression for his clients. I feel very confident about myself and how I present myself to my peers.

The digital wardrobe was an interesting concept, but I did not find it particularly useful in practice. Most of the items I purchased were ultimately returned or sold. There were also purchases I did not feel I had approved, and when I attempted to address these concerns, I did not receive a meaningful response. Because my concerns remained unresolved and not responded to (I had given a week), I cancelled our final meeting as it's awkward having someone ignore you then come to your home. At that point, I no longer felt comfortable continuing the working relationship. The fashion suggestions were very basic ie "where a cardigan with a dress" and not what would expect from a stylist, more like something at the mall. This review reflects my personal experience as a paying client. Based on that experience, I would not work with this stylist again.

I am a 53 yr old doctor who lives in ny. I live around a great amount of influence and am in the…read morearena of perfect designer dressing from hair to shoes. Never having the money to wear any of the seasons designers clothes, I did try and pick up a piece or two on sale at the end of the season. I always thought a great pair of shoes, handbag and the mantra of " hi - low" would get me by. Over the last 2 years I realized I had some great pieces in my closet but had no idea how to put them together or how to think outside of the box. And I didnt know how to find a stylist who would work with a budget, Until I met Barbra.... I purchased Barbra's services off of guilt group on a blind whim. I had never met her, seen her work or had even spoken to her. I knew I needed her though. I NEEDED someone to sift through my clothes and create outfit options for me. I didn't want to be obligated to a stylist who only shops retail because I have 4 NYC private schools to pay for. Not an option particularly in this economy. Barbra has the perfect business paradigm for normal people who want to look great. Her thinking is awesome. Firstly? Everything is about reworking or consigning. She does an intake phone call before you meet her which could go on forever because her energy is much fun. (you hang up feeling like you just talked to your best friend!)then she comes bubbling into your home with a huge suitcase of consigned clothing from either her own clients or from Decades 2 in LA. The hottest and highest end consignment store for all the stylists and their actor clients. Then you get down to work. She is a magician with styling. Things I didn't even know I owned and things that I hadn't worn in years, she made hip, current and edgy. She styled my mothers 45 year old velvet Pucci maxi skirt and it rocked. I could go on and on. I ended up spending two afternoons with B and cld have used two more. I took pics of every outfit with accessories and shoes, bags. I refer to those pics every time I go out. Moreover, people notice. I get so many compliments on how I look and I can feel people tracking me when I go to a restaurant. Barbra has given me new insight onto dressing and how to present myself. She truly has made a huge impact and I thank her all the time. My husband is theist happy! Thanks Babs!!! Plz excuse typos. I'm on my iPhone.

Working with a stylist might seem like a total splurge, but when I had an unexpected career change…read more-- it was time to let go of the past and enter the new (fiercer) future. It now became a necessity. I first met Barbra at an event at Beckley's on Melrose. She was part of a group of experts discussing the importance of fashion on image and branding. After I heard her no-nonsense eco-friendly approach to styling (reuse, repurpose, recycle -- THEN buy something new), I knew I wanted to work with her. Of course it didn't hurt that she is also a British Vogue online correspondent and a published author of Closet Control. Any way, she takes her business SERIOUSLY. Prior to her first power session with you, she advises you to get plenty of rest and eat something because it is going to be intense. Wow. This was kinda like the advice I got prior to doing my first Triathalon last year. And then we went for it. Years of clothes and shoes were thrown out, and things were repurposed and reworked to create things I didn't think of putting together. Old faves were retired, but that ultimately made room for new faves. This was some serious therapy as I was sooooo attached to my stuff, even though I hadn't worn things in years. Some stuff still had tags. Anyway, I have a better sense of what woks for my figure. She also strongly suggested that I rethink my attraction to expensive handbags, and invest that money elsewhere in my wardrobe. I still refuse to let go of Marc and Louis and Yves, but I haven't bought anything new. This makes the BF very happy.
