Missing the crispy exterior but the interior is nicely soft and slightly gooey. I specifically tried the choc chip cookie (standard taste) and the cookies & cream cookie (I really enjoyed this one! Fan of the trickles of white chocolate ganache). Service was a bit cold. The lady who assisted me was no-smiles and there was conveyor-like communication from her. What I will give props to (and I wished more bakeries did this) is that she asked if I had any food allergies before confirming my order.

The lure of free GOURMET cupcakes proved too much for my office and pretty much all of us spent about an hour doing nothing other than trying to win the cupcakes. Unfortunately we lost the competition because we couldn't guess the font used but luckily Gourmet Cupcakes felt sorry enough for us to send us a box anyway. We had tried hard and I guess they felt we deserved some for the effort. Needless to say, the cupcakes were not only gourmet, but bloody gorgeous too. Full marks for presentation, flavour and excellent use of social media. I'd recommend these cupcakes over the Candy Cakes chain in Soho any day.

I had the banana choc chip which was super yummy! The banana sponge was nice and moist and the choc chips gave a nice texture to it. I also tried the earl grey which was a bit different, but still good. The cake on both of them were great and the icing wasn't too sweet. These are great cupcakes and they were very reasonably priced. Wish I knew they had loyalty cards because I will defo be back to try out some more flavours!
