Great golf course with reasonable prices. Welcoming to skills of all types. Beginner friendly as well as challenging for experienced golfers. Lots of fun!

Toughest course in the area in my opinion. Water on just about every hole. Seems like every green is elevated as well. If the course is cart path only, you are in trouble. The roots of all the trees have destroyed the paths. Way too bumpy. The rough will punish you if your ball is there. Just punch out to the fairway or you will hit a tree and get negative yardage. Hole number 11 has numerous chickens on the left side of the fairway. They make lots of noise and smell terrible. Great practice facility and Bo the pro is the best guy you will meet!

    Yummmm

The 18 hole "Ralston Creek" is an exciting 18 hole regulation course, where you need to step up your game a notch, if not these 2 courses will cut you in half.. From the longest tees, the course plays to about 7,446 yards of golf for a par of 72, that my friends is about current U.S.OPEN length, with a lower slope rating though.course rating is 74.4 with a slope rating of 134. The Nationwide tour still hosts an event here and truthfully, if there were the room for bleachers, concessions and transportation. With a few weeks work to narrow the fairways and toughen up the greens, I believe the PGA could host an event here, it is that good. The course was designed by Rees Jones and opened in 2006. The 18-hole "Beresford Creek" course at the Daniel Island Club features 7,093 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . This is the older of the two courses and opened around 2000.The course rating at Beresford Creek is 74.4 and it has a slope rating of 134, so it plays shorter, but no less difficult.

I wish it was covered but it's otherwise a nice range. The grounds are well maintained and the staff are always nice and helpful. The clubhouse is going under renovations that will give them a bigger space. They have a nice bar and restaurant and a decent pro shop. If you're a Goose Creek City employee you should inquire about the discounts they offer!

Expectations were quite high as I approached the 1st tee. My warm-up session went well, body…read morereacted positively to my stretching session, I was ready. Pretty much everything after that point went to hell in a handbasket, but not in anyway due to the course. To post a decent score at Crowfield, you must have a lot of information at your hands. Danger lurks everywhere, so a shot five to seven yards off line is DEAD, followed by a penalty and a double bogie. The greens were punched and over-seeded, so they were bumpy but the Pro Shop had been discounting greens fees accordingly. Mark in the shop was such a gentleman, he went over the entire course yardage book, hole by hole with me. Mostly pointing out the removed bunkers, 38 in all, I took notes. They were removed because the course was playing just too difficult for the average player. So here is my advice, check where the water is on each hole, again, a slight push fade or a slight hook draw and your DEAD. You must play from the fairway to have and hope for pars or the occasional birdie. There is just no way you can scramble from the trees and get up and down for par, it just ain't gonna happen. Beautiful facility, beautiful clubhouse and a course that I was not at all prepared for, it really humbled me, it whipped me. I had to call two playing partners in NYC to talk me off the ledge, or I was calling Dr. Jack Kevorkian the very next morning.
