Can't say enough about Mark at the Costa Mesa location. The fitting was awesome. I flew out from Michigan and on my way to the airport passed one of the top 20 fitters in the country in my own town. I have been fitted before and I often wonder why I get fit when I'm a pretty average size guy 6ft. Tall with a better than average swing and game. 6-9 index depending on how much I practice or play in a certain year. I could buy off the rack clubs all day and I hit them all "pretty well"- so I thought. I'm getting a little older 46, now and I just don't have the swing speed I did when I was 35 and bombing it. I went out to California to The Club Fix on the advice of a friend. I was skeptical and knew this trip might cost me in both airfare, hotel and the price of clubs. All I can say is, it was certainly worth it!!! I went with these goals, some consistency, some forgiveness and get some of my old length back. I also didn't want to lose the feel of my forged clubs. All 4 goals were accomplished. The process is as others have described it. We talked about goals, we talked about what I have played with in the past, what I like to look down and see behind the ball, and the process began with some head choices and after several shaft changes I was dialed in pretty quickly. I was hitting shot after shot long and straight to a tiny circle on the monitor. I'm kind of skeptical and it was so hard to believe that the computer wasn't lying to me. It was too good to be true. There were 2 or 3 clubs that were similar and we patiently went back and forth giving them all the benefit of the doubt to be certain I just didn't get lucky and put the perfect swing on one of them. I won't tell you what I picked because I truly believe you should put your trust in the fitter. I ended up choosing clubs that are not my favorite brand and shafts I had never heard of. A blind fitting is the only way to go in my opinion. We are all fans of certain brands and I get it. Some things I just can't look at in my hand or in my bag. My advice is be open minded and let the fitters do their thing. Now the exciting part, after flying home and doubting myself, wondering if I made the right choice and if I wanted these clubs in my bag the next few years, the clubs arrived about a week later to Michigan. They underpromised and over delivered. Mark told me 2 weeks and I had them in about 8 days. I went out to my club and hit a few balls to a par 3 to figure out my new distance. It was a solid 12-15 yards longer than what I was playing. I'm smart enough to know distance isn't everything and just because one 7 iron goes longer it may not be better. New lofts are jacked up and new 7 irons are like old 6 irons (even 5 irons). The trajectory, consistency and control is what I was excited about. I was hitting shot after shot as straight as an arrow and fading and drawing at will with confidence in every shot. I went out the next evening and fired off a 77 when I had been stuck at low 80s for the last few years. Ask me how I shot the 77? I did it because I bogeyed the last 4 holes!!! Mostly because of the putter, that was not part of my fitting. I was one over on the 15th green and started getting excited that I may shoot par for the first time. I've been a member of my club for a long time, Travis Pointe, in Ann Arbor, and my personal best is a 74, 13 years ago. The past few months I haven't been under 85 and I was getting a bit depressed about golf. I went out later that week to Inversness Club in Toledo and shot another 77, where my previous best was 82. I'm excited about golf again and my handicap dropped from a 9 to a 6 almost overnight with the last few rounds I've logged. I haven't been a 6 in about 10 years. It was clear to me I was holding on to clubs that no longer fit me or my swing. This was the best one day trip and investment in clubs I have ever made. I can't say enough about the whole experience. There isn't a big wow factor at the location like you might get at a PXG experience in Scottsdale or the Titleist, Callaway, and Taylormade centers where they churn out clubs for the pros or big fans of their clubs. I am an amateur and have a very mixed bag. There are 5 different manufactures in my bag currently, and they all fit me great. The wow factor from The Club Fix comes when you get back home and actually play the clubs they made for you. They promise a better game. I was hoping for a couple shots better. 5-8 shots better for a pretty steady, avid golfer like myself is crazy. I'm still shocked how much my scores have improved and how many greens and fairways I'm hitting. If the price is an issue... sure you can get clubs on eBay, online, local sales or whatever. But to know they are put together correctly, frequency matched and dialed right to my specs gives me the confidence that is priceless. Would you rather pay for the clubs or pay your bets? A bit about me - I'm a member at a local country club and a 10 index - I know how to swing, but I have my bad days like everyone does... I've done a lot of equipment days at our club where a rep comes out and sets up a tent, but I've always left underwhelmed. I went to see Mark at The Club Fix for a fitting because I suspected my irons were a bit off and they definitely were! After looking at the flex, my irons were flexing 1-2 categories weaker than the stated flex! After that Mark really took the time to understand my goals and what I wanted to accomplish. I really wanted some consistency in ball flight and preferred to stay with the same heads and chose a relatively economical shaft. With that in mind, Mark went through a bunch of options both expensive and inexpensive and let me know the advantages of each after I hit them on the monitor. I found it really awesome that Mark didn't try to sell me into the most expensive shaft possible - quite the opposite, he told be a couple of times that he hoped I hit this or that shaft better because it was going to be more bang for the buck! In the end, I ended up with Recoils that did the trick - a lot tighter dispersion and at a flex that allowed me to be more confident at the bottom of my swing. We also adjusted the lies which helped my hook ;) All in all it was a great experience and I've referred a few members from my club to Mark and The Club Fix and they've all been happy with the service and results. Another nice touch is that Mark personally follows up a few weeks later to see if the clubs are working for you and if there needs to be any adjustments or tweaks. That is something I really appreciated as I know from experience that I swing differently indoors or at a range than on the course (I tell myself to pretend I'm on the course, but it never works). Recently worked with Mark on a complete new set of clubs at the recommendation of a professional golfer who works with him. The process was very educational and informative and Mark was awesome at taking his time to find just the right club vs just trying to sell me the most expensive new ones. He also went way out of his way to convince his Mizuno rep to rush my irons in less than a week so I could use them for an upcoming golf trip! I loved the clubs but actually didn't love the grips, which Mark had (wisely) suggested to help fight my tendency to hook, but I just wasn't loving them. I let him know and he immediately offered to replace them, free of charge, which ones that I now like much better. As for the new driver, after trying many different flavors, we both decided on the Taylor M1. After consistently maxing out at 240 on my old driver, Mark was confident he could get me 280 with the right tweaks and shaft on the M1. I didn't believe him! But was proven wrong as by the end of the session I was consistently hitting it 280 (even a few at 288!). Suffice it to say my friends on the aforementioned golf trip were pretty shocked to see me flying my drives 30-40 yards past many of them. Thanks Mark!!! read more

I first heard about Mark at the Club Fix through a co-worker who had a great experience getting fit and had a new set of irons built back in December 2016. I am an 9 index who does not change equipment very much, but felt that my 10 year old iron set was due for some modern technology. I went into the fitting with no real preference of brand other than performance. I hit 5 different brands/models before I settled in on 1 and then 4 different shafts. The combination I landed with is a full 2 clubs longer than my previous set. They are pure butter. I played with the irons for about 3 months and decided to get a new driver and wedges along with a buddy. Same process as before and I was able to improve my driver distance by 20+ yds with a proper head and shaft combo producing a very low spinning ball. Callaway Apex irons with KBS C-Taper shafts and M1 driver with a Fujikura pro 63 shaft. Since I have had my equipment I have referred a couple of friends to Mark who have all had the same results. I saw that there was a negative review on Yelp, but I had heard good things on the course about The Club Fix from some friends that went there. I am happy I listened to my friends. What a great experience with an extremely patient and polite staff. Any question I had was answered in a way that I could understand and any doubt was quickly resolved with numerical launch monitor data to back up the performance of the golf clubs. I have also heard that The Club Fix is expensive. Well, compared to a golf shop that sells stock golf clubs it is more expensive, BUT it's less expensive than the custom golf club fitters that I have been to in the past. Their prices for aftermarket custom built product is the most reasonable I have seen. After my fitting I was presented with 3 different price options and was able to choice based on performance and my budget which option fit my golf game and wallet the best. And I was shocked the the best option wasn't even the most expensive. Extremely honest guys who weren't just selling me the most expensive equipment. They recommended what worked for my game, period. Great new team at The Club Fix. I visited The Club Fix about 3 years ago and liked my experience, but didn't love it. The one thing that I have loved are my clubs, but the first experience was good not great. Boy has it been shaken up. I talked to Bronson the owner and he mentioned he needed to shake things up a little to get the business back to where he has it when it was just him doing everything.... His new team is incredible. Attention to detail, options of golf clubs and shafts. I can't say enough good things about my experience last week. Now as I mentioned my clubs never failed that I purchased from them 3 years ago, and I know my new ones will be even better. I was able to hit almost every club head company on the market (including the new PXG clubs) with a lot of different shaft options. They actually have so many options I think it's physically impossible to hit them all! This was my second trip to The Club Fix in 3 years. 3 years ago I didn't have that good of an experience. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. This time around it was great. I was able to talk to the owner of the company (Bronson) for about 30 minutes and it really gave me some great insight about the company. 3 years ago he was being pulled in a million directions and he turned over the operations to some other people. He saw the business doing well, but not growing and having the personal touch that it had when he started the company. At the end of last year he did a complete revamp on the business and it's running just the way it used to in the first few years of the company. The personal attention I received, the options of what I was able to hit and fit into, and the overall experience was second to none. I'm really happy to see an owner of a business take note from his clients on what is lacking and put his attention towards fixing things. 5 stars all the way for The Club Fix. I'm new to golf, but I decided if I was going to take on this difficult sport, then I might as well start with the proper equipment. So I decided to get fitted for clubs. At first I was very intimidated walking into the facility being that my game was kinda weak. As soon as I met my fitter Mark he made me feel relaxed and let me know quickly there was no such thing as a dumb question. Every question I had he answered in detail, which definitely made me realize I made the right choice in choosing clubfix. My fitting was an awesome experience, and my clubs were even better then I thought they could possibly be. The best part was that since I have had my clubs for over two months now. I've golfed for years and have had many fittings done by different companies,but by far the best experience and knowledge was from the awesome guys at the club fix! I came in hoping they can find me a few more yards that I've lost with old age and they got me over 25 yards off the tee! My golf buddies were amazed that not only am i out driving them now, but now I'm carrying it as far as my full drive from my old club. The fitting process seemed very easy and relaxed. Mark was a nice guy and answered all my questions and it just seemed like i walked in and hit some clubs and all of a sudden he had a head and shaft combination ready for me to try that i was blasting past my old driver. I am a beginning golfer and this was the perfect choice for me. I was trying to decide if I should get lesson or a club fitting first so I called The Club Fix to see what their thoughts were. They explained to me that I could go and get lessons, but if my equipment wasn't fit for me I would be learning bad habits because my tools/equipment wouldn't be working with, but against me. I went into my fitting with The Club Fix expecting the best and that is what I got. I used to play on the mini tours and have visited many tour vans. The experience I received was just as good if not better than being on tour. They have more options than you can even hit with all the different head and shaft companies they offer. It's good there is a professional fitter there helping to narrow down which head and shaft combinations work best. Mark their head club fitter there did a great job. Came down to get my driver situation situated. Mark instead of selling me a shaft gave me a Lesson. Mark Parish could have sold me anything in the store and I would have purchased. Instead he took the time and watched my swing out me in trackman and gave me solid advice. The experience of getting professionally fit for my clubs was awesome and really opened my eyes to all the important and critical things we ignore when we just go buy clubs off the shelf. I have been to many club fitters in my day. Let me start this off by saying the club fix is not a club fitting facility. They are club builders, people should know their is a huge difference between club fitting and club building. I got fitted personally by PXG. When I went into the club fix they saw all the flaws and issues pxg did and helped me to have a perfect set of clubs. In my honest opinion it's a mistake to go to a club fitter and everyone should go straight to a club builder and checkout the club fix. Your clubs will have zero flaws after you see them! read more

I got my clubs fit with The Club Fix around 3 years ago. I am currently 15 years old and still enjoying the clubs I got from them. The Club Fix looks at every little detail to make sure your clubs are perfect for you, I kept saying "sorry" because I hit a bad shot, but the good thing is that they know when you hit a good ball and a bad ball which means that even if you hit a couple of bad shots, they won't fit your clubs around those shots. I fit for new irons with Mark. He did a great job suggesting iron/shaft combinations. He ended up building my set for a reasonable price and although they don't have an SST Pure machine they were very professional and accommodating in subbing out the work. In the end I was built a really nice set of irons that I have complete confidence in and perform just as designed. Over the past month my index has dropped from a 9 to a 7 mostly as a result of more playable irons. read more
