All food was prepared nicely and a good amount of food is provided. I got the fries as a side and they were fine. We ate outside and it was very nice. You may sit near a road for two tables but it is not busy or dusty. The inside seemed tight and noisy but we did not spend much time inside so not sure what eating in there is really like. The service was good

My family and I just ate at the Ashford House...en route back to Dublin…read more The old fashioneds were very good and Viktor, the bartender working, made sure to ask if we liked them knowing we were from the States. We had to try the Margherita pizza (bc that's just what we do) and it did not disappoint! Lorenzo, from Rome, did a great job. The crust was clearly wood fired and the sauce to cheese ratio was spot on. We had the fish and chips, the steak sandwich and the tikka masala curry. I had been trying to find a chance all week to grab some fish and chips and was unable to. I'm glad I had to wait because the Ashford House had the crispiest yet lightest fish and chips! The steak sandwich was ordered medium rare...Americans remember? It was cooked perfectly which was an amazing surprise. My brother's tikka masala was completely gone...meaning it was delicious. The food was presented gorgeously as well. The restaurant itself was beautifully appointed and I'm saying that as an interior designer! The bathrooms were updated and super clean. The atmosphere was really nice with just the right amount of lighting, a beautiful bar and very comfortable furniture. Our service was delightful and our server was very down to earth, easy to talk to and was able to make recommendations. We will definitely be back! Thank you Ashford House.

The meat was delicious, I had a rare fillet which was well cooked and full of flavour. A good bottle if Gigondas complemented the steaks very well, and well priced. Very pleasant evening.
