I have the pleasure of spending time in Bandon once a year and The Cobbler's Bench is truly a one of a kind specialty shop! I was on the market for some Birkenstocks and I finally decided to treat myself. The owner was very helpful and even though he had some technical difficulties outside of his control, he was able to still assist and offer up options for payment. I appreciate his patience, quick adaptability and follow through. I've been enjoying my sandals and look forward to supporting for many years to come. read more

One of the clerks at this store will go out of her way to loudly and repeatedly misgender trans people, with a big smile on her face. I used to love the store, and always try to shop small business, but after witnessing that behavior I'm no longer comfortable recommending the business. read more

They do not repair Keens. I'm not sure they are still in business at all.I called for a repair on my favorite shoes and they could not help me. I don't have any experience to report here. read more

A nice place to shop but they do not do boot repair anymore. They don't have a cobbler or plan on getting one.

Just got in to town from driving down the coast all day wanted to stretch our legs with our 3 dogs. Walking down the cute little downtown. Stopped in cause I saw Birkenstock's which I love. I walked in my husband stayed out with the dogs I assume the owner told us to bring our dogs in. Gave our dogs treats and water. Bought shoes and a mask!! Super helpful and kind read more

I have used the Cobble's Bench for 30 year's, but will no longer take my shoes there. Their work is excellent, but their prices have gotten outrageous. I took a pair of high heels to get heel tips. They quoted me $30 for that tiny heel tip. I took them to Lincoln Shoe Repair and they did an excellent job for $15. very sad to see this happen. read more

Amazing staff however this is not a cobblers place. They no longer have shoe repair. So sad is this is why I drove to Bandon. But there are a lot of fun shops and places to enjoy in Bandon. read more

Rude. Don't expect to get shoe or boot repair and totally was Nasty when we walked in and didn't even try to make us feel welcome to even shop. In my experience his shoes and leather is over priced. Definitely a tourist trap. Maybe we were keeping him from his Golf game. Sorry I ever spent a dime there. read more

My sister owns one of the beach rentals in this community, and I visit a couple times a year. I walked in to get the sole of my boot re-glued; emergency style. I didn't have time to do a traditional repair (was walkabout with my sister and 97 year old mother in "downtown" Bandon); I just needed to get back to the car. Peter not only glued the sole, he did so in about 2 minutes flat. It wasn't the repair he wanted to do... but he did not charge me for it either. I offered to pay... he declined. It's not a perfect repair he said.... but it's still holding up, and I had to walk a bit to get back. That level of courtesy and professionalism bears notice. Now, how do I bring him the rest of my work? I live in Los Angeles.... read more

DO NOT SHOP THIS STORE We will never shop this store again. Tried to return a pair of shoes that I bought on sale and they would not exchange them. I would have to buy another pair shoes that were on sale of the same kind. I tried to buy another pair of shoes of a different brand but he would not let me exchange for that. I could not even get my money back for the shoes. They did not have my size so I could not exchange the shoes. So now I'm stuck with a pair of $150 shoes I cannot even wear. The man behind the counter was extremely rude, I absolutely will never buy from this store. read more

I needed a pair of shoes and the lady was so nice she found what I needed and had a pair of socks that I really wanted. So gave them to me. The store was a true cobbler. The leathers were beautiful . I will come back on my next trip read more

Love this store and it quality of leather items. We visit Bandon from time to time and make it a must to stop by the cobblers beach. I have purchased a couple of purses from them and they have lasted many years. Customer service is always top notch! read more

What an awesome find!! This shop has the most beautiful array of real leather goods from shoes, to boots, to wallets to gloves. Gorgeous items. And I had leather shoes repaired there - they now look like new and only took 2 days!! The service was friendly - staff were so helpful and kind. I'll definitely be back on my next visit. read more

If you buy a belt, make sure its 100% leather. I bought a money belt there some time ago and was told by a female employee it was "all" leather when I asked. The lining was naugahyde. The belt lasted about 6 months before the cracking and peeling of the liner began. I have no other experience with their products or workmanship. I just wish I was told the truth.....then again, maybe the employee didn't know. Nevertheless, it was represented as all leather when in fact it was not. read more
