This place saved the day! We actually have ebikes and I love riding them on the beach, but my silly husband forgot the seats. We have the type of bikes that fold and you need to remove the seats. Anyhow, I was a bit cranky because I really wanted to ride my bike! We decided we'd see if there was a bike shop nearby. Considering we were far from home, we did not know the area, but miraculously found Moe's. this was the place to be! I loved it! The place was busy but when it was our turn, the person who helped us made us feel like we were the only ones that mattered (in other words, did not rush us). He gave us some options and it seemed that everything there was quality stuff! They even had an open (maybe used) seat and a band new one. Both looked the same, yet we paid less for the 'used' one. This weekend the wife and I went over to Moe's Bike Shop in North Bend looking to get a used bike for exercise. We were helped mostly by CJ but also by another nice gentleman who's name in sorry to say I didn't catch. Now I spent half my life in commission sales. I am always happy to encounter a salesperson who is more concerned with selling me the right product and not what they want to sell. From the very start it was clear Moe's wanted to prioritize earning my trust and having me as a return customer. They listened to what I wanted but asked questions to find out what I needed. If there was ever a contradiction between two things I wanted they never made me feel in the wrong for it. Not once did I ever feel pressured. And the little details to surprise me at pickup really drove it home and the sale was done already. I strongly recommend this be the place you checkout if you're interested in a bike at any level or price range. Now I'm gonna go take a much needed nap cuz I my fat butt needs to get back in riding shape. Exhausted but loved every second of my new ride. Thanks guys. read more

I brought in an attachment to my wheelchair. It has a single wheel, battery assist, two brakes, and it is propelled using hand cycle style pedals. It's a Rio eDragonfly. Nothing they had seen before. They were so enthusiastic to see me and to have me there besides my unusual wheelchair attachment. They had it fix up in hours. I highly recommend Moe's Bike Shop. It's now my go to bike shop for my Handcycle also. read more

Moe and his son work together at his shop. This man and his son are the best, they have great selection, best prices, very knowledgable and awesome service; I mean truly awesome. If you need ANYTHING bicycles, Moe's either got it or will get it for you fast. He will service your bike usually have it done in minutes to hours. No need to drive out of North Bend or Coos Bay for your biking needs, you have to get to Moe's and support the local business. North Bend and Coo's Bay have to keep this "old school" service in our community going strong. Great job Moe, I highly recommend this business to anyone. read more

This is a great bike shop. I was biking north from San Francisco, and had stopped at two other shops before this one who had proceeded to both make my bike slightly worse. Alan was friendly, personable, and most important good at his job. He replaced my chain, re-trued my wheels, re-wrapped my handlebars, adjusted my crank, and did it all with a great attitude. Yes, the chain was a bit expensive, but it's worth it to me to get quality work. He even showed me his GoPro videos from the beach. Nice guy, quality work. read more

I came here while on a bicycle tour--it's the first stop on your way south as you arrive in North Bend. The father-son duo were helpful in checking my chain for wear, but that new chain was extremely overpriced. What's normally $15 on the internet was $25 in the store. I can't say if they're just trying to gauge tourists since it's going to be a very common spot for them, or if they just made up the price on the spot for me (the chains were not labelled). Next time I'll avoid the gauging. read more

I didn't feel pressured or hurried by him even though they were closed. These guys have without a doubt proven all-around to be as good as they come. After living in the Portland (metro area) and taking up cycling for the last couple years, I've dealt to some extent with nearly all the areas local bike shops. To keep things positive, I have no negative thoughts or feelings and have been pleased overall by the knowledge of individuals and service offered to me. But to get to the point, the couple here at Moe's Bike Shop in North Bend on the Oregon Coast have taken it to a whole another level. I, in the few times that I've been in the shop have been treated (to what feels to me) as family. These guys are clearly not in it for money. They want to see people enjoy the sport as much as they enjoy it themselves. And that is how they will make you feel. Thanks to these two, I've been set up with a great bike and all the extras at a more than reasonable price, while the folks at Moe's seemed more than happy to do so. I can without stepping on any toes (likely speak for all the locals as well and) say that Moe's bike shop is as good as it gets. I often wonder when I read reviews that speak so highly of the topic if it's not a paid advertiser or maybe a business partner.
