From start to finish, the service was abysmal and I would strongly caution anyone considering hiring this firm to think twice. First of all, communication was a major issue. I found it extremely difficult to get ahold of my assigned attorney and when I did, they seemed disinterested and unengaged. I continually had to follow up with them myself to get updates on my case, and when I did finally speak to their clerks, it was clear they hadn't even read my file or were not informed of the specifics of my situation. Secondly, the billing process was a complete mess. I received multiple different invoices with different amounts and descriptions of services provided. When I tried to discuss this with the accounting department, I was met with rudeness and impatience. It felt like they were just trying to squeeze as much money out of me as possible without providing any clear explanation for the charges. I have to find another law firm to sort out the mess that this firm allowed and by mess, I mean the drawn up paperwork makes no sense and is completely incorrect. I signed at the suggestion of the lawyer, realizing now that their service was a waste of time and money. They provided nothing, honestly. Charging repeatedly for paperwork and information that they never used. My case never went to the trial that I thought I was paying for. I paid trial fees for a lawyer to speak to me twice over the course of a year. She was ill or unavailable the rest of the time. Blatant liars and will threaten to drop you and keep your money if you complain, because they need the "trust" of the client. Don't trust them to do right by you. They're money hungry. Overall, my experience with CHISOLM TRIMBLE & ASSOCIATES, LLC. was incredibly disappointing. I would not recommend this firm to anyone looking for professional and reliable legal services. The lack of communication, uninterested attorneys, and confusing billing practices make this firm one to avoid at all costs. Editing because it hurts to think about how they handled my case. Multiple times, she said one thing and then switched her stance as soon as the opposing counsel brought it up. She ARGUED against me, her client, in mediation alongside the mediator. We were in this custody battle because my ex-husband showed up to coach my sons baseball team drunk, got kicked off the coaching staff, got a DUI while trying to pick our son up at my house and tested off the charts for illegal narcotics. Somehow, he walked out of mediation with more parenting time and decision making over baseball. Megan Pettis did not advocate for me in the slightest during one part of this process including mediation. I felt completely bullied by her and the mediator and forced to agree to things I did not believe were best for my son (through tears and distress).

We got waxed by my ex-wife's attorney with Will and the mediator even putting pressure on me to give up way more than I needed to. I am thoroughly and completely disappointed with my representation from this firm who clearly "mailed it in". Do your homework. You can get good counsel for half of what this firm charges. Attorneys have a poor reputation for a reason. This one is well deserved.

You never actually hear from an attorney. Case manger Nayeli, was extremely unresponsive. She rarely answered the phone, ignored voicemails and emails for weeks at a time, and frequently promised to call on specific dates but never followed through. My case dragged on for over a year after treatment was completed. Even after everything was supposedly resolved, they delayed releasing my check for another month. I was told documents couldn't be sent via DocuSign (which turned out to be untrue) just to force me to come in person. When I finally received the check, it was a very significant amount less than what was promised over the phone. She then claimed the reduction was due to medical bills that "couldn't be negotiated," despite telling me earlier they had already been taken care of. Overall, this firm was dishonest, unprofessional, and provided a very poor experience.
