It seemed to be hotter by at least 5-8 degrees compared to the apartment we had just viewed in Madison. So I think this is a warmer area in Huntsville. We did see people walking around and let's just say they did not seem like neighbors I would want to have. I did view dog poop around the property which I think is pretty sick. If you allow dogs, please don't count on dopey inconsiderate dog owners to do the right thing because they don't! Please have a maintenance guy go around picking up feces to keep your property clean! This alone caused me to cross this apartment off my list!

Whenever any sort of maintenance came up, Adam and his staff were courteous and efficient, emailing me asap (at times even after office hours) to keep me updated. The location is also excellent if you're going to be working in Research Park itself; it is very centrally located (less than 10 minutes from University Drive, close to Slaughter Road, minutes from 255, etc.). It's also great for running and exercise outside. We walked to Bridgestreet regularly from our apartment. If you're going to want to be living in this area of Huntsville, I can't recommend the Bridges in Research Park enough.

Yes, there are fees for not following community rules, but they're just in place to keep everything clean and well-maintained--no issue if you're a responsible adult! Maintenance is outstanding. Since I work in Decatur, my aunt sometimes stops by to walk my dogs if they need access to my unit. The team always communicates with her to schedule a convenient time instead of leaving her waiting around--such a considerate touch! When something breaks, don't expect accountability -- expect excuses, blame, and attitude instead. They actually accused us of intentionally breaking the sink pipes instead of admitting their plumbing was flawed. This was after 8+ maintenance requests to address the flooding issue caused by the sink pipes literally falling apart while the water was running. Most of the staff is rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Amenities are a joke and rarely work properly, just like the gates that are somehow constantly broken. For the amount of money they charge, you'd think basic maintenance and security wouldn't be impossible. One of the most disturbing experiences I had here involved a neighbor filing noise complaints about my dogs. Management immediately threatened eviction and even told me I may need to rehome my dogs instead of actually investigating the situation fairly. I did everything in my power to figure out why my dogs were barking so much, only to discover that the neighbor was literally standing outside my window recording and provoking them. When I brought this creepy and inappropriate behavior to management's attention, they did absolutely nothing about it. Nothing is ever management's fault. They refuse to take responsibility for anything and treat residents like inconveniences instead of paying tenants. Save yourself the stress, money, and frustration and live literally anywhere else. I'm happy to be out.

I have also been threatened by one of the other residents over an assigned parking spot that I had pay for because the parking here is atrocious otherwise. The apartment I stayed in was one bedroom one bath. Dishwasher, in unit laundry and dryer machine, parking right outside. You pay for your own electricity bill. Rent is reasonable and affordable.
