He is thorough and cleanly - he wears gloves from start to finish, which in my mind, just makes sense. I've always struggled with dry cuticles, hang nails, and aberrant nail growth on my right thumb. I can't cover it with nail polish due to my work, so it needs to be filed and buffed. Jason got to work, and my nails look great just to my liking - a buff manicure. It felt unnecessary and honestly quite humiliating. On top of that, the colors I specifically asked for were not done, which was frustrating after already feeling judged. The overall tone and attitude made the experience feel unwelcoming and embarrassing. They also have the tools in "sterilized packets" and they are not as evidenced by not seeking the color seal To make matters worse, when I still chose to leave a tip, a comment was made implying it wasn't enough. That was the final straw. I left feeling embarrassed and disrespected. No one should feel that way while trying to enjoy a simple self-care service. I am very impressed with everyone who works here. They are upbeat, happy, friendly and very, very professional. My lady is particularly happy and loves the new owners, Melanie and Rebecca, as well as manicurist Janelle, who also performs pedicures. I was very impressed at the fact that she didn't try to rip my nails off instead she soaked my nails and little by little she drilled them off. When that was done she put the new set on and we got to the nail polish portion. I showed her a picture in my phone and asked her if she was able to duplicate it. She said yes. I honestly was shocked. The last place I went to said that they could not do anything they said they only did nail polish no designs. The girl that was doing my nails told me that she could do any design rhinestones it didn't matter what it was bring a picture in and she can do it. I was so impressed because I have so many pictures in my phone that I have always wanted on my nails. So she put a design on my nails with foils. I absolutely love them! She did an amazing job. I went with a friend, and she called to book the appointment weeks ago, with specific technicians. We get to the salon and I let them know I changed my mind and want gel now, not acrylics. A few moments after we walk in a woman comes in and says she has an appointment with one of our technicians. They let her know they overbooked and wouldn't be able to service her. The woman told the technicians that she had called a couple days before and scheduled, and they must've messed it up. Then the technician who's overbooked comes over and tells us we're going to switch so she can do the other woman's nails. To me, as a business, this is bad practice, you shouldn't put your customers in a position like this. I understand that mistakes happen, but they should've honored the people that made the appointment first. In hindsight, I should've advocated for myself better, but I don't think businesses should be putting their clients in this position. They had us sit down because they weren't ready, and we had to wait an additional 15 minutes. At that point I was on a time crunch, and didn't have time to go anywhere else. The technician who did my nails was very upset that I wasn't doing acrylics anymore, and asked me three or four times if I was sure. I didn't realize it at the time, but she cut my cuticle open, and didn't say anything about it. I got home and my finger was in a lot of pain. Bad communication and honoring clients who booked after your other ones is a no for me.

I had to schedule a last minute appointment with another salon who charged me more for last minute request. $10 off did was not enough to respond to this unprofessionalism. Do NOT recommend.
