7/12/25. Got tickets for Carlos Mencia, 9:30 show and we were still standing outside the studio at 10:15?!? Management needs to plan this out better; it is inconsiderate to your customers. Once inside, the staff was quick and efficient with drinks and food. Because the show started so late (had 2 warm up comics before Mencia) they were still going past 12:30am but the comedy had dragged on by then. I believe The Comedy Zone is doing very well with their level of comedians. Lots of people were here and everyone needs and wants to laugh!

    Coming to see Carlos!!

A litte bit of riff raff in the lobby but we are having a good time. Drinks are amazing and aren't super expensive for the venue. Seating is tight. Not a lot of space. The blue cocktail drink(Tropical...) is great. I was drinking them like water they were so good.

How did I not review this spot either. This was the second highlight of my trip after dogs. Jax's main comedy venue. They had Jon Reep here who I remembered from long ago and immediately got tickets. South comedy is better. It's not PC for one and for two, mostly for that reason, it's actually funny. The chicken and fries were good too. Plenty of it that's for sure. Jax gets some good low key names if you're into standup. Most of these high profile people are only famous cus their comedy is super generic and lame. Just saying. Edit: dang it yelp you tricked me I did review it after all. Oh well. Ten stars.

Stage with lights Seeing Ben Brainard tonight

The show was great. The seating was decent. The table was next to a pillar and one of the chairs had to be situated in a way that you were in the walkway to be able to see. The menu is classic bar food but was still tasty. The bathrooms were located in the hotel lobby. The bathrooms were low or out of toilet paper while we were there. I informed the front desk person, before the show was even sitting people, and was told that is someone else's responsibility. An hour later it was still not addressed. Although I enjoyed the venue and the show I will definitely think twice about returning due to the lack of attention to the bathroom. No one wants to be caught in a no toilet paper shit-uation.

I love sitting behind a blower motor. Another added bonus to premium price seats

Went to see Zoltan Kaszas tonight. Bought premium seats and got thrown in a corner at the end of the stage with a table obscuring my view. (Don't believe me? See the pictures) So I mention it to the waitress and she gives me a nasty attitude. She never once asked if we wanted refills or more food. Nope just a nasty attitude. Thank God for Zoltan Kaszas who noticed our predicament about halfway through his set and he moved the damn table. It seems like the whole staff was clueless tonight. I've been here a lot. But after tonight I'm going to reevaluate. Something like this should never happen. Why was that table up there? The comics use the stool. Very bad experience. I totally missed the first two comics

I have been here several times throughout the years, and while the entertainment is good, you know it is time to update the place if the comedian can crack jokes about how dirty the place is. We nearly left early because the seats were so uncomfortable. Food is mediocre at best unless you are going to Gi Gi's first. Service is long, they won't check on you unless you raise the card on your table.

I love this place!!! They always have top notch service, great drinks, food and funny comics!!! I love the speciality cocktails during the show in which all of them are tasty! I'm a comic as well so you'll find me there sometimes. Especially on tomorrow march 12 Wednesday for the Best of Jax Comedy. Tickets are ten bucks!!! Come on down! This show happens every week and it's an open mic in the lobby to hear other great comics!

OMG, great show, Jason Banks. If you haven't seen him before, check him out. You can find him and n TikTok and IG. All of the comedians were funny tonight Check in was easy. Tickets are at Will Call, check in and show your ID, get your table ticket . I suggest getting there early so you can get a good seat. There's a bar and restaurant in the lobby area while you wait. I've been here before, sporadically some years ago..., this place really needs an upgrade and clean tables when patrons sit. The staff was busy, but friendly. Food and drinks come at a reasonable the me after ordering. Overall, the headliner was amazing and they have booked a lot of great comedians. Check their website for more info. Only my second visit but there definitely be many more! Food was fresh, tasty and prepared quick in time to start the comedy show. Beverages served were great too. Very good and friendly service by staff. Everyone working was friendly and professional. The interior is large and comfortable with a great sound system. The Comedy Zone has a great lineup schedule of talented comedians. Looking forward to my next visit soon!

Earthquake was hilarious! He kept us rollin. All the comedians were funny.can't wait to return to Comedy Zone Jacksonville. They always host the beer comedians. This venue is cozy, so all the seats are great. Location is perfect, at the Ramada, with Gigi's restaurant on site, and a nice lobby bar, you can make this a one stop night.

Seats so close together, even in the midst of a pandemic!

Is the comedy club 18 and over? I am going on a guys trip with some college buddies and spending two nights and one of the guys is 20. I just want to know if this comedy club or any are accessible for people under 21.

I'm afraid I don't know .you could call and ask....

Mechanic was super friendly…read more We checked out the deal online. 15.99 shoes included for unlimited bowling 11-3 we got there at 11 when they opened. The woman who checked us in asked if we had summer passes - we did not - then informed us of 15.99 for two hours of bowling. This was a surprise. There was no mention of a time limit outside of the 11-3pm timeframe. We were told we could not bring in our water bottles. (Good to see that Bowlero doesn't care about the environment) We asked for water at the concession. Free but no lids for the cups. (That clearly is the smartest move for a 3 year old when if that is spilled it threatens the safety of all bowlers because wet bowling shoes don't slide) because that wasn't a concern of the facility we did asked for a pitcher of ice water and were told 'no i can give you all the water you can carry' which may have been an attempt to be funny but it wasn't. What gets me is this company it's not only one of the reasons that the bowling industry is a whole is failing due to their aggressive 'no leagues in our house attitude' from a few years ago. But they are literally out pricing families. Without this 'deal' One game of bowling nine dollars per person, not including shoe rental. A family of three? Over $40 with shoes for two. Absolutely atrocious. I have so many amazing memories from youth bowling, and this house when it was Bowl America. Im sad to say my kiddo wont have the same memories here. Add to it the gouge my ball took really left a sour experience.

This location is fairly new since my last visit to the Jacksonville area, as I usually visit the Southside Town Center location. Heidi welcomed me and got my tasting started. She was warm, friendly, and very cordial. She later handed me off to Isaac, and he absolutely made my visit. Once I shared that I was a Wine Club member who simply wanted to relax and enjoy my tasting, he understood the assignment! He was attentive without hovering, kept my pours coming, and gave me the space to just chill--that was exactly my vibe. Isaac's customer service was genuine, effortless, and memorable. I left feeling relaxed, appreciated, and simply...nice. He truly sealed my trip to the 904! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the Jacksonville area. Thank you, Heidi and especially Isaac, for making my visit such an enjoyable one!
