We started off with a safety lesson, progressed to shooting some 22 rifles at targets, before moving to other 22's and finally an AK-47. To top it off, Jeff let us try shooting a suppressed 22 pistol even though we didn't pay for that service, which was quite fun since this isn't allowed in our home state. Of course, shooting at targets is exciting as-is, but Jeff blended the mechanics of proper marksmanship with helpful safety guidance and small competitions between the people in our group to keep things exciting. For example, we were pitted against each other to knock down some steel plates the quickest. This part was extremely fun. I believe that we all came away from Jeff's lesson with more than just a grin on our faces: we all feel more confident shooting, and more confident shooting safely. I recommend Jeff's services to anyone in the Sun Valley/Hailey area who would like to improve their skills with a firearm in a safe and enjoyable manner. He is a true professional.
