They will go out of their way to accommodate any request as best they can. In fact, I feel it is more like staying with family rather than an impersonal hotel! The continental breakfast is as good as any, and I really like their coffee. They keep it well stocked. Last time we were there we used the conference room and we had no issues at all. Everything was exactly as I expected it to be! This is my favorite hotel to stay at and I am always excited when I get to go back! So if you have a chance, check them out! However, the gentleman that were there that evening we showed up, seem to be very put out by the fact that we even arrived. They were not any more helpful in the morning. Breakfast was almost nonexistent and consisted of automated pancakes, an open container of milk shared among all the guests, and a limited selection of cereal. The toilet ran constantly until my father took the lid off and fixed the chain inside of it. The room itself was outdated with damaged walls and stained carpets. On the plus side they are pet friendly, and they do have two separate locations where you can plug in a vehicle or a boat. One has a regular wall outlet and slow charges, the other has a 110 and 240 outlet. Not sure what type of plug you need for the 240 outlet but it is not an Nema 1450. We were able to get a decent amount of charge off of the 110 outlet though. It also does not have the safety issues we encountered at the other pet friendly hotel in town the last time we were there. This location is in the middle of nowhere so if you have to stay here and have a pet or an EV, this is the lesser of 2 evils.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner, listened to live music, and ended the evening watching a fantastic fireworks show over the lake. It was the perfect way to kick off the holiday weekend. On Saturday, we ventured over to The Preserve Golf Course for its grand reopening, and it was absolutely beautiful. The course blends perfectly with the surrounding nature and made for a memorable round of golf. Afterward, we spent the afternoon back at the resort enjoying everything the lake had to offer. One of the highlights was the lantern lighting at sunset--it created such a peaceful, magical atmosphere. We wrapped up the evening with karaoke, another excellent dinner, and lots of laughs with family. What really makes Honey Creek Resort special is that there's something for everyone. Whether you want to relax by the lake, golf, enjoy live entertainment, or simply spend quality time with family and friends, it's all right there. The staff was friendly, the grounds were beautiful, and the entire resort had a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
