I have used them several times and they have always done a great job.My airconditioner stopped completely, I called and 30 minutes later I had Mike here checking my old system. It had leaked all over my brand new roof, and was done. I had to work with my home warrenty to try to get something and Roko was very helpful. I needed a new unit, but didn't know how long I would have to argue with my warrenty company. He told me he could get me in on Monday (this was wednesday) and i wasn't sure how long it would be before I heard back from them. I got approval back from them Thursday morning, so I called Roko and he said their was a small chance he to get me in late Friday afternoon, and I said whatever you can do would be great. I resigned to having a very hot house for the weekend, but at least I have a pool to keep cool. Imagine my suprize when I opened my door at 10:15 on Friday and saw the technicicians standing at my door with a new unit on the trailer. These 2 young men where awesome. By 12:30 I had a new system, and the house was cooling down. OK these guys offer a good rate to service your air-conditioning units.... They don't service them properly we watched them on the security camera they were there for 10 minutes and didn't even blow the dirt out of the compressor. That was the first time...Super shady company. We have used them in a pinch twice. The technicians (if you can call them that) don't seem to know what they're doing. We ended up having to have another company come out and fix what they did the owner of the Cool Dude told us he would reimburse us asked for address never sent the check. If I were you I would go with a different air conditioning company these guys do a half assed job and are just looking to make a quick buck! read more

Easy and well deserved 5 star rating for The Cool Dude HVAC Service. I called midday on Saturday and had a return phone call within an hour. I needed to have the thermostat replaced at my Mom's home. A new set of batteries she installed did not fix the blank screen and non-functional thermostat. After a quick quote for service call and parts install I agreed to the repair. He showed up very soon after that and quickly discovered the issue was that the batteries were not installed correctly. I called at 7 in the morning because our air would not click on. Completely dead. After calling 2 other companies who honesty could not get out to my place way too late in the day I called the cool dude. After diagnosing the issue as a condenser issue and having to replace it we opted to go with a full unit replacement instead. The original unit was very old and we knew it was coming. From start to finish the process was about 4 hours. I cannot tell you how incredibly happy I was when they said they could replace it that day. With 3 kids and a dog on an extremely hot day we were incredibly grateful for the quick action of the entire team. I would not hesitate to call them again or recommend their services. 5 stars!! We initially were happy with our visit. We called because our air was at 86 and going higher. They arrived fast, which was great. He did some work. Charged us $180. The air started going down from 86 to 83 but never lower than that.. Then in the evening it started going back up. We called the tech again who basically told us "Sorry, nothing else we can do". We suffered through the night and had All American Air out this morning. Turns out two different motors went out causing a grinding sound (which kept us up half the night) and the other motor shutting down at the hottest part of the day which caused the unit to blow hot air. I had high hopes for "The Cool Dude" because their fast response time but $180 later and nothing fixed, as well as the "sorry nothing we can do" response from the tech, its unlikely we will call again. read more

They have fixed all our issues and I strongly feel they have gone above and beyond what most AC companies do. They are respectful of my home, always cleaning up behind themselves. Cool dude repaired our AC last summer. It had just stopped cooling and they said it had to be a leak of which was not found. They put in a sealer which has worked up until a few weeks ago. The system we had was a Carrier and 6 years old of which was over the 5 year warranty. We bought our home new and All American had done the install with the builder Janecek. It really should have lasted longer due to we were part time for the first 4 years....anyway, Aaron from Cool Dude recommended the Goodman system, with a 10 year warranty, and parts always in stock. We couldn't be happier with the new system and their great customer service. You can call these guys anytime and they are quick responders. They scheduled the install the 2nd day later. We have been using this business since moving to Havasu in 2013 and have been beyond happy with their service. Knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and clean up after completing the job. Instead of pressuring us to replace our unit, they serviced it and gave us updates to its operation until it became very apparent it was working harder than it should. With that, we took this timely information and ordered a new unit then had it replaced within the week. All went in without a hitch and we are now hooked up to the new unit through WiFi. I saw the Cool Dude truck on my street and he was able to squeeze me in for a quick check up. I was pleased with the low $40 charge. After 10 minutes the technician informed me that I needed a capacitor & the cost was $140, but he didn't have the part on him so he would have to come back to replace it. He took my 40 dollars cash and was on his way without leaving a card, receipt or work order for the work needed. I informed my husband who called the company to inquire about what needed done. He was met with rudeness from the defensive person who answered. I waited to write this review until we got a different company to come out. I ended up paying All American Air $75 for a system check. Turns out we don't need a capacitor and the only problem was low refrigerant due to the caps being left off by the dude who came out previously. I would not recommend this company for many reasons.
