Problems with my air conditioner, I made the mistake of calling another company. $497.00 later, and still having the same problem, I will not make that mistake again. My heater died on a Thursday. Ron Jr. came right out to diagnose the problem and I was not surprised to learn that it was time to replace the rooftop air/heat unit, as it was 26 years old. Janice in the office was super efficient getting everything scheduled right away and the new unit was installed on Monday! That was quick! The AC Guys even offered to let me use their portable roll-around heater over the weekend. This family business gives the best, most professional service in town. Our unit went out. I left a message with the Air Conditioning Guys and first thing Monday morning I received a call and an appointment for that day. The tech was professional and broke the news we needed a new unit but took the time to put a bandaid on our existing unit so we would be warm until the new unit could be installed. i had Ron work on my system because the heat did not wirk the one of very few times needed. he said heat exchanger was bad. looked like a spaghetti noodle kind of. it was a lil under 200 for part. I told him I didn't use the heat very often. no thank you. I said I was ok as long as air was working. he said I was good to go. a month or so later I turned on air. no go. i got out ohm mete to trace power. come to find out he pulled th master fuse out of unit if you turn fuse over180 degrees. it is in off mode. I'm am lucky to be able to physically get on roof and check out. I feel Ron is a crook. how many people have been charged for things like this? = Not right. And he is supposed to be looking out for his local people when he speaks for them in Phoenix? lol. I think not. read more

I was so pleasantly surprised with Ron The Air Condotioning Guy! We have a vacation house in Lake Havasu and needed AC help. We were having trouble with our AC, fan running but blowing warm air. We made the mistake of calling another company first, the technician that came handed us an estimate for $1165.00. I hadn't had much experience with AC but even I knew $540.00 was a LOT of money just to refill the refrigerant. Plus he had itemized other costs for work that needed to be done. Janice and Ron Jr. are absolutely fabulous. They have done work for me for a few years now. A couple of years back Ron Jr. installed a thermostat at my house that I control with my cell phone. It is the best thing in the world! When we are in route to our vacation home I turn on the air so our home is cool upon our arrival. If I think I left the air on after we leave, I can simply check the app and adjust it if needed. When our adult "kids" are staying at our home and we are not present, I set the thermostat and lock it so my son cannot reduce the temperature to 60 degrees as he tends to believe that the air just somehow gets cold and has no concept of the costs involved. lol We had our modem replaced yesterday at the house so we had to reset all of our apps. I had no idea how to reset the thermostat. I called Ron and he immediately remembered me and provided me with on the spot information so I could get the app functioning again. He even text messaged me with additional information after our call. Ron's providing me with ongoing support for the thermostat was not part of our original agreement, however, Ron went above and beyond in helping me with this issue, as he and Janice always do. When we have a problem with our air conditioner Janice has always had someone out to the house promptly. I have actually developed a personal rapport with Janice and have called her when I need other services in town. She knows everyone and can refer an expert for any situation. I truly feel blessed that The Air Conditioning Guy was referred to me. I will never use another provider! We called them about 2 years ago because the 3 other companies in town could never fix our air duct system properly. Ron fixed it for $300.00 and we never have had a problem since. Once again the air conditioning guy's came to our rescue. We came into town to find our air conditioning didn't work. It was 108 outside and 105 inside. 30 minutes after I spoke with them they were knocking on the door. The air conditioner was fixed in 30 minutes-new capacitors installed. This almost never happens! And when it does, you must tell the world! We have a summer home in Lake Havasu City, Az... So when it's triple digit heat, you MUST have your A/C crankin! We came to town, and the A/C thermostat won't dip below 84. We changed the batteries in the thermostat, changed the filter, reset the thermostat, all with no results. Unless I want to melt, I have no choice but to find a HVAC service to come out and diagnose. Crap, I'm picturing hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in repair or replacement bills. There is a sticker on my thermostat from the previous owner for Air Conditioning Guy. So I looked it up on Yelp, only 3 reviews, but all 5 stars. So I call and I reach Janice, who owns the business with her husband. She walked me through more troubleshooting steps that I had not tried, and VOILA, my AC is now working again! Most companies would never have gone to this trouble, settling instead on the minimum service call to get the $$$. I am so grateful, I hope this review convinces you to give them a call! They informed me that they had a guy who will fix it and made arrangements for him to come look at the air conditioning unit. It took this guy four different appointments before he finally showed up. Not only was he rude, but without even checking the unit he told us that the owners need to buy a new unit that this I highly recommend this company knowing they are honest, reliable and know there stuff. Great Service!!! We have a vacation home is Havasu and our unit stop blowing cold air. I called another company (I won't say the company name, but all our neighbors said they only hear bad things about that company) They didn't really check anything just went by our description of the problem and told us we would probably need a new unit. We weren't very happy with them so we called the Air Conditioning Guy and Janice was very friendly over the phone. Ron Gould was our technician and we were extremely happy with him. Friendly, honest, knowledgeable and efficient. He opened our unit and diagnosed the problem immediately. He had our unit running in less than 15 minutes. Our bill was more than fair.
