Send out their sales guy to take a look at what we needed (new 3 ton minisplit) and he looked all around, made measurements, made some reasonable suggestions, and said he'd be back to us in a couple days with a quote. Prima donnas, this company doesn't deserve a rating. While my house was in construction I had two mini split duct work in place with the electric. For in the future I would decide what system to install. I paid top dollar to have this installed. This week I went with another company and to find out by my surprise that corners were cut to save money. All the other homes have a separate drain line in place. One representative came by to explain it was the contractors fault or that they were experimenting on different ways (thinking they were going to be the installers) how to run the system. He then called the installers or was rude by implying that my contractors were morons and stupid. Then today two trucks from Samons pulled up to check. Then those same two quoted to a neighbor that my contractor was having problems with the install then bad mouthing the company I used. In business if you don't get a contract you don't bad mouth, name calling other companies. This just makes you weak, cheap and unexperienced. My system is rated the same as theirs and is working perfectly and a lot cheaper. A good business doesn't inflate prices. read more

These guys are awesome. Needed a couple mini splits installed on my RV garage and I really wanted Mitsubishi units. Called them for a quote and Gary responded quickly. He gave me a very fair price and was ready to install them the following week. Well that was a bit too quick for me as I was having a pool and bbq area being built and I wanted to finish those first. Well to make a long story short that took the better part of 2 years. Gary stopped by a couple times during that period to check on the progress. He stayed in touch with me the entire time. Finally finished the other projects and had them install the units. Great team of guys. Very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I got four bids for a new AC, and Gary at Samon's had the waaay best price! I got $1350 in utility rebates, and $450 from Lennox for a 16 SEER 2-stage 5 Ton heat pump. One of the other bids was almost $2000 higher including the rebates. I even got a discount for writing a check. The next best deal was from my friend at Air Conditioning Guy who don't do rebates. If any of the rebates had fallen out, I'd have gotten it from ACG. Tim and Richard did a tremendous job on the install! No added costs, and they were done in a few hours. I added a UV light and odor-eating catalyst, which I hope will make a difference. The kit for that could cost $160/year to repl the bulb, etc. We'll see if I think it's worth that.! Richard crawled around in my VERY HOT attic checking my ducts - what fine guys!!! I had a minor complain and Tim was up on a ladder in an instant making it perfect. These guys are super! Even the crane guy was awesome! read more

We had our Mini Split system installed a month or so ago. We were very satisfied with the services they rendered. They were very professional and carried it out in a timely manner. The first day two men were at the house to get all the lines run and everything set up. The second day one man came back to get it all set and going. We are very satisfied with the system they installed and though they could not put a blower in for the back of the house it is due to a beam they could not get past. They did take that off the bill and kept with the contracted price. we would highly recommend them. read more

It was 109 here today in Lake Havasu City, Az. About 6PM I noticed the house was getting a bit warm so I checked the A/C, not working. I called Sammons and was told I would be contacted in about 10 minutes. 5 minutes later I received a call from them and explained the symptoms. The gentleman said he could be here in an hour. I asked if there was an extra charge for an emergency call and he said standard rate. About 45 minutes he arrived and diagnosed the problems in 10 minutes. Parts on the truck. Fixed it right away for a very reasonable charge. If I could give them 10 stars I would. When this old unit has to be replaced Sammons will do the work. Samons has fantastic technicians - polite, friendly, and helpful. This review is low due to the method of providing job cost. We were charged one lump sum for the entire job. I asked for a breakdown of costs based on parts and labor, but Samons would not provide. There were two parts and one was covered under warranty. In looking into the cost of the one remaining part and the amount of time to install, I feel we were grossly overcharged. read more
