With moreland working the Covid unit at work and finishing school, and Blake having knee surgery, neither were able to come up before now to start making plans. Let me just say, I am very disappointed that the woman won't give the deposit back from Bonita Valley Dance Barn and wedding Venue. The pictures on Facebook make it look spectacular, but in person it is a dump. I get you are in the country and it's a barn, but who knew we were going to have to drive past a makeshift mobile home trailer with what looked like a junk yard parked outside, with campers, tractors, chicken coops, all around. The barn itself was covered in cobwebs (although they said there was a wedding there last weekend) yeah, right! And the chairs and media equipment had inches of thick dust. The netting draped through the rafters looked yellow as if they hadn't been changed in years and they were infested with bug carcasses. The light bulbs were scantily present and as you walk in there is a trap on the ground. The owner said it was for a "skunk " that was loose in the barn. Gross!!! Along with the skunk, there were rabbits running around loose in the barn. The smell was indicative of something either living in there or had died in there. The kitchen was a joke. If a caterer came in there they would run the other way. There was no oven and a refrigerator not big enough to hold a gallon of sweet tea. Walk outside and the grass is knee high and around the wooden cross were wooden pews that were rotten, gray and dilapidated. The furniture in the "bride's" dressing area was a couch dated back to the 60's and the fabric was so dirty, I was afraid to touch it. The tables to serve on were pallets nailed to four wooden posts. They were uneven and rough. I could go on and on, but I don't want to seem like a bride momzilla . I just want people to be kind and give this young couple their money back. Oh yes, and she said to make sure that I added that the cost was $710 for a 2-day venue...Thursday and Friday... well, Now we all know why...we were paying for SHIT and shit is cheap! I would be embarrassed to have family and friends come to this place!

Oh an the "crew" she brought was her husband. ONE person. They stood in the corners all nite, the family of the bride had to make sure the head table had drinks and food and drink were where they should be. THe planner did NOT get the parents together when the cake was cut, my friend missed it. She was busy refilling ice buckets because it was NOT being coordinated. So basically if you want to pay someone to apparently watch your family so all the work then go ahead and hire her. Otherwise go with a reputable company at with 1. A valid website, 2. Contract, 3. BBB raring and common sense. Oh did I mention as soon as the bride and groom left so did she!!!! No supervision of the vendors leaving and my friends family and friends had to clean up. Just very unprofessional!!!!

Betsy didn't show up the venue to start setting up for the ceremony until 3 hours before people showed up. She also regretted to inform the florist in a change of arrangement, due to the weather, and couldn't find her way out the predicament besides yelling at the bride. After the ceremony the reception had to set up for and the only two people really helping with set up was, the mother and the bride and the brother. They were running around setting up multiple tables because Betsy did not have enough table for guest OR the brides immediate family. Betsy was also very rude to the bridal party and snarky towards the bride and groom. On top of all of that when the bride and groom left at 8 pm she left instead of cleaning up the venue, my family stayed until 11 pm cleaning up. All around she is a terrible coordinator and I would NEVER recommend this women to anyone in need of a coordinator im Jonesboro Arkansas.

Placed an order for birthday flowers (3 days in advance) to be delivered to someone special in a…read morenursing home. Called at 2pm on the day of requested delivery as a follow-up only to be told that "due to supply chain issues" the order had been cancelled. I was never notified !! Had to scramble to get a new order placed for same day delivery with another florist. Pitiful.
