When I turned from prone to supine, which is a moment every properly trained therapist handles by looking away and securing the drape, Jerry was looking straight at me. His eyes were right above the sheet line while my chest was uncovered. It was so disturbing and shocking I didn't know what to do, and immediately felt dirty and at fault for no reason. This is a basic, non-negotiable professional boundary, and he crossed it. I've filed a formal complaint with management and requested a refund, disciplinary action, and a policy review -- including offering clients the option of a same-gender therapist at booking. If you're a woman booking here, ask specifically who your therapist will be and whether you can request a female therapist. You shouldn't have to, but until management addresses this, protect yourself.

You can also soak with the purchase of a service in the spa (massage, facial, nails). I find that the services are luxury pricing with slightly less than luxury service, so I skip them. It's a saltwater pool, kept below 101 degrees Fahrenheit. I know because I tested it to see if I was safe to soak while pregnant years ago; yes, I brought my own thermometer! Because that's what scientists do. You can bring in beverages from elsewhere on property but please not glass! The teahouse has yummy options but limited hours. You need a key to get in, and there's two large heated bathrooms to change in.

Hmmm... not what's advertised on their website (which I desperately hunted down after leaving) or on the outside of the building. I was completely disheveled. I asked to use the restroom and the lady led me down a dark hallway... using her cell phone flashlight to walk me to the back! It was so uncomfortable. The restroom was old and filthy. After leaving the restroom, I walked myself back up the hall to the first room that the lady was waiting in for me. I looked around... there was nothing relaxing or therapeutic about this place. In fact, under the chair I saw a pair of old Puma slides.. what appeared to be a mans as I'd assume they were too large for the lady. She said "you pay money" several times. Apparently she meant right then but because of the language barrier and me not being used to paying for a service before hand, I continued to respond with "yes, I know"... obviously I didn't expect it to be free. I continued to look around, I felt so incredibly unsafe and uncomfortable, and I immediately walk right out. Now I have no idea what may or may not have happened if I would have stayed... but I wasn't willing to find out! It's an absolute NO if you're looking for an actual massage (like I was)... this is not the place for it, trust me.

I purchased multiples, to personally use and to gift to others. Now that they've raised their prices they no longer are honoring the gift cards. This is Complete greed!! My receipt that shows my purchase even states that the gift cards are valid until 2021, yet the manager refuses to honor it. There is nothing on the receipt that states if we raise our prices you must pay the difference. I can understand a new service at a new price, but these are services that have already been pre-paid for. Seeing how ridiculous this company is operating, I don't even want a massage from here!
