And I never expected to get off work, one Friday in March, and have my manhood put on the line by 3 gorgeous women who thought it would be both fun and endearing to brand ourselves with a bond that only the four of us would share. I could say "no" to "fun", but there's no way I would walk away from "endearing", and with a devil-may-care half-smile, I threw my proverbial hat in the ring. The studio was less seedy than I had anticipated, but it wasn't nearly as charming as the corner of the playroom where I used to lick-and-stick myself with images of Bazooka Joe & friends. The vibe of 70's hits pumping over the speakers immediately put me at ease, because they were the same songs I listened to back in the "tattoo studio" of my youth. How would I describe the pain? As the artist drew the outline, it was like burning sensations I had felt before, manageable, yet without the scent of singed hair. My masculinity levels surged. Howeverrrrrrrr... the color fill was a new experience altogether. In what can only be explained as a podiatrist performing ankle surgery without administering sedative, the look of steely determination on my face melted into a bewildered grimmace, as if I had sneaked a peek into the Ark of the Covenant while the Nazi's weren't paying attention. My testosterone levels, as well as my estrogen, plummeted. And through it all, my rock, my adventure, my wife, was right by my side, hand on my shoulder. I was in Florida for vacation and decided to get a tattoo. The staff was extremely nice but I can't say any positive things about the tattoo. I got it on October 9th and today October 27th I can barely see the tattoo. All scabs (which were very little) have already healed so that is not the reason for my VERY faded tattoo. Unfortunately now I will have to pay another shop (their minimum) to get it fixed. Got pierced by a very nice lady who was the apprentice to one of the original piercers. She did a very good job and made me feel calm for it being my first body piercing besides my ear lobes. It felt like a tiny pinch and was just sore for a couple days after. Followed their care instructions and piercing is doing fine now. Worse experience ever, we got an appointment for 3/3pm, since my daughter is 27 years old the the person that book the appointment ask for a notarized health department form, wich we got; when returned at the time of the appointment the owner of the shop was very aggressive , he discriminated us told me to go back home, I'm from Buenos urea and lived in united states for over 35 years, I guess he did not like my accent, he yelled at me and my teenage daughter, came from behind the counter continuing yelling and pushing us out the door, ver scary experience, I would no recommend this shop to my worse enemy; very unprofessional; not sure how this shop still allow to operat; we reported to the authoritie, I hope something is done, VERY DANGEROUS PLACE! read more

I would absolutely recommend this place for both tattoos and piercings! When I first walked in I was greeted right away. First things I noticed were cleanliness and organization of the shop. It was perfect! Definitely made me feel more comfortable with working with them. Tony and Jeremy were the two artists who helped me out. Jeremy tattooed my nieces names on my forearms, in script. The placement came out straight and centered, and the lines are extremely clean! Absolutely in love with them! When I got done with those, Tony took me to a separate room to pierce my nipples. Curtains were put up right away for privacy. Both Jeremy and Tony were extremely sanitary. New needles and accessories were opened right in front of me which made the entire process much more comfortable, and everything was cleaned up (including my new ink and piercings) and disposed of properly. Both artists are great at keeping conversation so you're not sitting there awkwardly for a certain amount of time. I will 100% be back for more very soon! read more

The customer service here is great. I came to cocoa beach on a spontaneous trip and randomly decided i wanted to get a tattoo. I was flying out the next morning and it was already 6pm on a Saturday and I walked into a few places in the area and all were booked for the day. I knew my chances were slim of finding an open spot somewhere, but wanted to keep trying just in case. This one guy in a location I wont mention dismissively said he would need 24 hours to sketch my pretty simple tattoo inspiration. Online said his placed closed at 10pm but he was closing at 6pm...Whatever!! So then as a final attempt I walk into The Corner Tattoo Shop and at first was told it would be tough to squeeze me in because someone already had an appointment. But the guy at the front desk was very nice and offered to call me to let me know when I could come back if there was time. I left thinking he wouldn't call, but he did I was back there in about 1hr. The artist, Liat, drew up my tattoo and did an AMAZING job. I told her it was my first tattoo and she was very informative on what to do and next steps. I left very happy with the result. I've been going to The Corner for years for tattoos. The shop is clean, the staff is amazing, and Petyo never disappoints. Yesterdays visit with their piercer, Desi, gave me another reason to stick with them. Trying to find a piercer after Reds untimely passing has been hard. I went to another shop last month to have my daiths redone and I'm not happy with the result in the first ear. Decided to stop at The Corner to talk about getting my other ear done. Best decision I've made! The piercing area is neat and clean, which really is the most important thing when having any type of piercing or tattoo done. The bonus is that Desi is really sweet AND she's honest. She asked questions about my previous piercings...how long I'd had them, how long they'd been out. She checked my ear and then decided to see if the first hole was still able to be used. She didn't have to do this. She could have easily just re-pierced my ear in a different spot and I wouldn't have known. (Like the person who did my other ear.) She then checked the daith in my other ear to see how it's doing, telling me to come back to see her if I continue to have issues with it. THIS is a person who cares about her profession and the people who sit in her chair. I still miss Red every day but I am grateful to have found Desi. I will be back. read more

Showed up today at 6pm, and the piercer had left for the night and they said to come back tomorrow Well we fly out tomorrow and it was a bit of a let down for our trip. since hardly anyone else in cocoa beach does piercings. And the only other place doesn't have a piercer at the moment. We tried making an appointment. Did everything we were supposed to do as a customer to value their time, like calling ahead and being on time When we said we would be there. But it was a really big let down. Took my daughter to get her first Tatoo we were going to make it a family ordeal The staff was rude acted like they didn't want to do it then the owner tried to charge an absurd amount of money for tattoos the size of quarters. Went in here with 2 of my friends who wanted to get small tattoos. We are from out of town and made it a point to call weeks in advance to figure out pricing and if I needed to make an appointment or if we could walk in. We were told that we could just walk in, even though we specifically asked if it would be too much since we would be there on Labor Day weekend. Still the answer was no and just to walk in. We get there and we were told we need an appointment. Their website also says that they close at 9pm, but they actually close at 8pm. We were also told that they were too tired to do the tattoos and they were closing early. Such terrible business practice. Change your website to the correct times and make it appointments ONLY. They take walk-ins just for extra money and don't honor what they tell people on the phone or what the website says. Also now their Yelp was updated a few days ago to match their hours but nowhere else does it indicate the times they were open. read more

We came in for a tattoo and we got told we needed to go to a notery because we had a minor with us which was fine but the man was high on something maybe the owner no idea and started yelling at us saying we needed an id and we were telling him we wish we were told before hand before hand since we paid for the notary already the man started yelling at us saying it was florida law and telling us we need to go back from where we were (we're from argentina originally bit live in miami and are citizens not the point) and he ended up yelling at us to get the f out because he started screaming and we were trying to explain we just wish we were told beforehand. We never had this type of experience in miami a big city and got treated honestly like shit here in such sweet town. The rest of the guys in there were honestly very sweet but the older gentlemen was high and highly agressive be careful gals because he followed us out of the shop aswell!! we don't recommend when he's in shop. read more

My best friend wanted to go to the beach and get a tattoo for her birthday so as her friends we went to work planning! I called several weeks in advance because of their great reviews and expected they might be busy for Labor Day weekend, when we were coming. I described the tattoo she wanted, simple and small, and they INSISTED that we didn't need an appointment and should just walk in. The day we planned to go I called in advance to check if it was still ok to walk in and they were irritable on the phone saying they were all booked up and we could walk In and they would try their best to fit us in. When we arrived then sure enough they told us they wouldn't do the tattoos. Okay, so I've been to a few tattoo studios (NO SHAME) and some are real dives and should totally be avoided and then there are places like this. The shop is clean, spacious, well-organized with a large selection of jewelry, accessories and pre-designed artwork. The prices are comparable/reasonable especially considering the location. the staff is friendly and the artists boasts portfolios of beautiful work that they have created on their many patrons' skin canvases. My husband and I have been to this studio on more than one occasion. He has had a couple of tattoos done here and I have had some work done here as well. If you are looking for a tattoo ... T-Rex is the man for the job. He will have you laughing as you grimace through the pain. Be ready for dirty jokes though! I saw the work the other two artists did while I was in on my last visit and they did nice work too. If you're looking for a piercing ... Keebler will take care of you. His name, kind of gives it away; he is a little dude, but he has a big smile, nice personality and is very professional in handling his position. Very cool guy. Red works the front counter and she is a sweetheart. The Manager is nice but a little pushy; a typical salesman-type. All in all, a great staff though and a nice environment. First off. Shout out to everybody there esp. Brandon & T Rex. The staff is great here. Brandon was super chill and informative. He makes sure you feel comfortable & checks on ya while tatting you up. I had a phoenix fire bird tatted on me yrs back and it turned out looking more like a chicken, roster, turkey...yea I've heard them all. Anyways Brandon covered it up for me and did a GREAT job at it. It most def looks like a fire bird now. He wiped everything down so kudos for being on top of your game as far as sanitary goes. I went to the Corner Tattoo to get my first tattoos. I was referred by a friend, and it had good reviews online, so I figured that it must be good. My artist was Beefy, and he was nice, and the shop was clean, but he did one of my tattoos in the WRONG COLOR, and both of my tattoos have BLOWOUTS, even though they're simple. When I went back to complain about the wrong color ink they offered my a 20% off discount, but I definitely won't be going back. We walked in to the tattoo shop, we were greeted kindly, we got to take a look at the all of the artists portfolios, and got to brainstorm ideas about our tattoos with the owner. He was SO patient with us, even when we were indecisive and lacking knowledge. We scheduled our tattoos for later in the week. Our artist was Petyo. He drew out our ideas, and really made them come to life. He did a great job of taking our pieces of ideas, putting them together and making them better than we could imagine. We both could not be happier with his work, or the professionalism of all of the staff members we encountered. It was such a breath of fresh air, as all of the tattoo shops we have stopped at around our hometown were not nearly as kind or accomidating. I took my girlfriend here to get her nipples pierced( I have mine done already from a different place so I was picky about where to go). But we decided to go here anyways, our experience here was good until 2 months later my girlfriend's piercing wasn't seeming to heal properly. Her barbells then turned a dark grey eroding color. Which doesn't happen with real surgical steel. We had to take her immediately to another piercing shop , where they noticed the barbells they used were fake. Which is unacceptable. We paid them $100 for them to give her fake jewelry and put her at risk for infection. I would never recommend this place for piercings. read more
