I can't no stress enough In the lack of miscommunication. For a law firm and not to mention the verbiage, that's beyond me. I sent emails saying I have court on a certain date with the specific location, the representative (I think his name is Danny ) told me yes will take care of it. This idiot did not tell me they don't go to court on jersey village, I try to call to ensure it was going to be taken care of, this guy went in a vacation without communicating to anyone about my case ( left it in the air) I express my concern about my warrant and they said they will resolve the issue. Guess what I still have a f**ng warrant. To top it off this guy can't even send me a full email with the details on my other court. If I had to choose and go back in time I would never hire this mediocre sorry excuse of a damn law firm. If it was food, or any other service miscommunication happens. The amount of money you pay the expectations are high and errors should be at it minimal. All they did was "oh sorry, we had a misunderstanding" are you f***ing serious!!!!! It was not worth the effort and I would not use them again in the case I fall in the same predicament in the future. I could have done it myself (agree to deferred adjudication) and saved the lawyer fees. Things that I see that could be improved: 1) Stop outsourcing lawyer duties. I had a lawyer in court that represented 40+ clients and wasn't there to listen to your case. There is no personal connection and there are not there to fight for you. If the cop shows up, then they want you to plea. Doesn't matter what you think. 2) Call clients before hand so they know when and where to meet their representation. Since they outsourced my case I had no clue who my lawyer was and had the call the law firm to find out. 3) Listen to your clients and explain to them their legal options. Maybe I expected too much. But to me this is reasonable, especially if you're going to trust someone to represent you. There are better law offices out there! I would not use them again. read more

Based on outstanding reviews I went with this firm. Dan Corrigan represented me outside of the Houston area for a speeding ticket and in short got the ticket dismissed, only having to pay a small fee that same day. Nothing goes on my record and no time consuming defense classes. Even the judge told me that my lawyer got me an excellent deal! Dan is super nice, prompt, professional and made me feel at ease. **This is the first time to deal with this horrible office and it was a big mistake to deal with Corrigan Law Firm. **My Court time was 2:00 pm and their attorney showed up 3:10 pm after I called their office several times to see where was the attorney and they didn't even provide me with an infinite direct answer which made me ask them directly "ok what do I have to do if your attorney didn't show up"!!!!!!!??? and Guess what was their answer!!!!! the answer was " I don't know " !!!!!!!!!!!!! which I considered it as a Non Respect to the court, the judge, to us as their customers and even to himself as a man of Law to show up late on the court day and time. ** Regarding My citation, it was a speed ticket 45/35 and obviously it was NOT that Hard or tricky to get it dismissed --especially because I have Perfect Driving Record (+5) with No previous Records-- BUT unfortunately because of their POOR experience and their Poor experienced attorneys in even these simple types of citations, the attorney was NOT able to get it dismissed and I had to pay more than what was must be paid if I've paid it ONLINE. because simply I had to pay the office in advance and then the citation and the court fees, So it's the worst experience in my Life ever to deal with Corriagan Law Firm. I wouldn't recommend The coorigan law firm to anyone. He seemed nice and helpful at the beginning but once my cases started taking some time he seemed careless after that. Court would be scheduled at 830 and he wouldn't arrive till 11 at times leaving me the last one sitting in court or would not show up at all. He would tell me one thing and by the next court date he would either forget or not even bring it up to the judge on what we had talked about. I ended up paying what I could've paid somewhere else for a guaranteed dismissal instead I had my cases reschedule numerous of times because either the court wasn't ready or something that should've been taken care of from the beginning wasn't. Main reason why I was not happy with the firm was because they couldn't get a dismissal on a case that there was no evidence on instead I had to continue paying monthly fees.
