Not only did the owner refuse to give us a 10 percent discount on a $2,000 purchase--a discount his manager promised us, and she was embarrassed to have to withdraw--but they packed the wrong bags of soil in our trucks. What they gave us (manure rather than soil) meant our potted flowering plants would not survive. We had to hold up the project for a good part of the morning for hundreds of volunteers. While the employees were apologetic, the owner and manager were not. We won't use them again.

The man I spoke with was so understanding and accommodating and was able to get a gorgeous lily bouquet together and delivered to my mom (whose cat, Lily, had to be put down that day) within a few hours. That level of service and the quality of the product is why Hyacinth House has been in business for so long and will continue to be a go to spot for floral needs. I called Home Depot, after being on hold 20 minutes, I was told "sorry, we only warranty our installations for 1 month...really. A $1000 dishwasher, which they told me "we'll do a quality install ".
